#Minecraft Potions

Apart from weapons and armor, you should also bring some Minecraft potions to trial chambers to defeat them more easily. First potion is the strength potion, which increases melee damage. The healing potion restores a certain part of your health instantly and swiftness potion makes you move faster, so you can avoid attacks. The weakness potion lowers melee attack damage and the harming potion deals damage instantly. All but weakness potion can be enhanced to level two with glowstone dust. Weakness and harming potions should be turned into splash potions.

Potion of slow falling makes you fall slowly, so it prevents all fall damage in Minecraft. To make it, you'll need a brewing stand, blaze powder, water bottles, nether wart and the phantom membrane. This item is the drop from phantoms, hostile flying mobs that spawn when you don't sleep for three days. You can brew it the same way you brew other potions. Add a redstone dust to make it last for 4 minuets and gunpowder to turn it into a splash potion. This potion is most frequently used in the fight against the Ender Dragon.

In order to make glass bottles in Minecraft, you need at least three glass blocks and a crafting table. Simply place the glass blocks in a V shape in the middle and bottom or top and middle rows of the grid and the glass bottles will appear on the right. You may use the glass bottle to scoop up different liquids like water, potions, honey, and dragon's breath. Also, you can sell them to the cleric villagers or craft honey bottles by combining four glass bottles and a honey block in the crafting grid.

Minecraft potions provide various status effects. Some are positive, some negative, some special and two are unobtainable. To make a potion, you'll need a brewing stand, blaze powder, awkward potion for most other complex potions and unique ingredients, like a pufferfish, stone block, golden carrot and more. Positive potions can increase speed, strength and provide special abilities, negative provide disadvantages and lower stats and special ones can provide both a positive and a negative effect, depending on the circumstance.

Fire resistance potions are one of the most useful potions in Minecraft, as they negate all fire damage. To make them, you'll need a brewing stand, blaze powder, magma cream and 1-3 awkward potions. Open the brewing stand's interface and place the blaze powder in the cell on the left. Then, add up to three awkward potions in the three cells in the center. Finally, place the magma cream in the upper cell in the middle. After a few seconds, the awkward potions will turn into regular fire resistance potions that last for three minutes.

One of the very useful potions in Minecraft is the invisibility potion. It is made by corrupting potions of night vision with a fermented spider eye inside the brewing stand. Fuel this block with blaze powder if it ran out. After the process is done, you'll have potions of invisibility lasting for three minutes. You can extend them with redstone dust. Once you drink the potion of invisibility, you'll be completely invisible, except for the gear and items you're wearing and holding. If you get too close to mobs, they will still be able to see and attack you.

The Minecraft Potion of weakness is very unique, as it doesn't require nether wart. Instead, you need a brewing stand, water bottles, fermented spider eye and blaze powder. Place the water bottles in potion slots inside the brewing stand, add the fermented spider eye above them and the blaze powder on the left. The water bottles will shortly turn into weakness potions. This potion applies weakness effect that reduces melee attack damage by two hearts. So, it's better to turn it into splash potions using gunpowder, so you can throw it at other mobs and players.
