The upcoming GTA 6 Extended Look on Netflix could be something nobody has ever seen before in the entire gaming industry. According to a post by Reddit user Rsodyyy, Netflix Portugal’s page splits GTA 6’s Extended Look into multiple episodes.
The image shows the usual details for the presentation scheduled for August 27, 2026, but also lists three episodes below. It’s possible someone generated this image shared on the GTA 6 subreddit with AI, as the subreddit is already filled with similar AI-generated images.
But this does align with Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick’s recent tease that the GTA 6 Extended Look would feel more like a Netflix show. This was his “non-financial” reason for Rockstar’s partnership with Netflix.
The Reddit image also lists the runtime for each episode: the first around 22 minutes, the second at 24 minutes, and the final at 16 minutes. Shortly after Rockstar’s original August 6 announcement, users reported that a Netflix app glitch revealed the GTA 6 Extended Look runtime to be around 30 minutes.

Players are speculating that the first episode could be the GTA 6 gameplay video, the second dedicated to its protagonist Jason, while the final episode could focus on the other protagonist Lucia. For now, nothing has been confirmed, and neither Rockstar nor Netflix is expected to address the rumor before the presentation.
However, episodes do make sense, given how Zelnick urged everyone to get a Netflix subscription for the next GTA 6 trailer. We recommend taking this rumor with a grain of salt, as a plethora of fake GTA 6 images and scams such as “Play GTA 6 early” are circulating online.
Most players thought Rockstar’s partnership with Netflix would mean that the showcase would be cinematic, like a Netflix TV show, but this is a whole new approach.
Whatever the case, you can’t deny Rockstar’s marketing for GTA 6 has been full of surprises. Alongside the Netflix presentation, the Take-Two CEO confirmed during the August 7 earnings call that GTA 6’s pre-order sales have been astronomical. So, the strategy is clearly paying off.
