And we’re back with another live video game event! Honestly, I’m all in for the hype of Gamescom this year. Ever since E3 packed its bags, I’ve been head over heels for Gamescom, but 2025 just feels different for gaming. The whole thing spans an entire week, packed with announcements, but the real party starts with three big livestream days. And to kick it all off, Geoff Keighley brings us Gamescom ONL 2025, loaded with new trailers, big announcements, and those sweet world premieres we can’t miss.
We already know Hollow Knight is locked in for Gamescom demo, and it’s dropping something big in just two days with a Silksong special livestream. But that’s not all; Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Ghost of Yotei, The Outer Worlds 2, Resident Evil Requiem, Silent Hill f, Ninja Gaiden 4, and even a live music performance from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are on the schedule. Black Myth Zhongkui
Game Science is back, but this isn’t a DLC for their famous monkey-protagonist title. It’s their upcoming project, Black Myth: Zhongkui, featuring massive characters and stunningly detailed visuals. Excitement is definitely building for what’s next!
Resident Evil Requiem
The Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 trailer for Resident Evil Requiem shows us a little depth of Ashcroft’s backstory. Nothing much, but enough to hype the fans for the February 27 release.
Ghost of Yotei – “Song of Vengeance” Trailer
The Ghost of Yotei trailer, revealed at the Gamescom ONL 2025, shows the protagonist reflecting on her past, riding across fields, climbing ropes, and battling in snowy, blood-soaked landscapes, driven by her will to survive and destroy her enemies. Stunning scenery, brutal sword combat, and a haunting line: “Ruthless spirits, wandering the land, driven by vengeance. Sometimes I feel like that is what I am.” Ghost of Yotei Legends, a co-op mode similar to Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, is also coming in 2026!

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Legacy of the Forge
