Flipkart has created a new Galaxy Note 10 microsite that highlights the launch date of Samsung’s upcoming flagship phablet (see image below). While the device is set to be officially announced on the evening of August 7 in New York, it will already be the wee hours of August 8 in India by then. The Galaxy Note 10 is expected to go on sale in most regions around the world by the end of this month.
While Samsung is yet to confirm the exact launch date of the Galaxy Note 10 in India, a new report from 91Mobiles is claiming that the company will officially launch it in the country on August 20. Buyers, however, might have to wait a couple more days before getting their hands on the device, as it will only go on sale starting August 22, says the report. In contrast, pre-bookings for the phone will start August 7 in the US, with buyers expected to receive their phones by August 23.
While the exact tech specs of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Pro remain under the wraps, Samsung last week virtually confirmed that a new Exynos chipset will power the upcoming devices. Rumored to be called Exynos 9825, it is said to offer minor upgrades over the Exynos 9820, which powers the Galaxy S10 lineup. The most notable change, however, will be a move away from the 8nm node to the more power-efficient 7nm process.
Meanwhile, according to tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), Samsung will launch Exynos-powered models even in the US, unlike earlier years. In a tweet earlier this month, he said that only Verizon Note 10 models will be powered by the Snapdragon 855, while the rest of the carriers will get Exynos-powered variants like the rest of the world.
