Flipkart Mobile Recharge Buyers Can Get Asus Zenfone 5Z For Re 1, Plus Coins and More

Flipkart brought mobile recharges to its platform earlier this year, launching prepaid plans for a number of major Indian telecom operators.

Powered by PhonePe, the recharges platform is only visible on the Android app, and opening the link on an iPhone shows us the web equivalent but iOS users cannot start buying recharges just yet.

At the moment, you can buy recharges for Airtel, Jio, Vodafone and Idea Cellular, and Flipkart is giving a Asus Zenfone 5Z every week to one lucky user who buys a recharge using the app.

Overall, five customers will be chosen and they can get the Zenfone 5Z for Re 1 on Flipkart. This contest ends on August 28. Every week, the user which makes the 15,000th recharge transaction for that week, will win the Zenfone 5Z. You won’t be notified by Flipkart if you win, instead your name will be showcased on the Recharge section. Two winners have already been announced so you still have the chance of winning a Zenfone 5Z this month.

In addition, Flipkart Plus users can also earn Plus Coins when buying recharges on the platform. You can also get up to Rs 75 cashback in your PhonePe account on prepaid mobile recharge for the first time, and up to Rs 20 cashback for repeat users.

Recharge Plans on Flipkart

Flipkart automatically detects your carrier when you start a new Recharge booking. It does this by using a PhonePe webview container which asks to read your phone number by asking permission. These are the plans that Flipkart has showcased in the section:

Airtel

You can buy an Airtel 28-day pack for Rs 199 on Flipkart, which gives you unlimited local and STD calls, along with 3G/4G Data. You can also get a plan for Rs 448 with an 82-day validity and similar benefits.

Reliance Jio

Those using Jio prepaid can buy a 28-day Jio recharge pack for Rs 149 on Flipkart, which gives you unlimited calls and 4G data. The 84-day validity plan is priced at Rs 399 on Flipkart.

Vodafone

Vodafone prepaid users can get either the 28-day pack for Rs 199 or the 84-day pack for Rs 458. Both come with unlimited calls, even on roaming, 100 SMS per day and 1.4 GB 3G/4G data every day.

Idea Cellular

Finally, for Idea users, Flipkart is offering the 28-day recharge plan for Rs 199, which gives you unlimited calls, roaming and additionally 3G/4G data benefits. The 70-day validity plan is priced at Rs 398 on Flipkart.
