1. Suicune EX & Greninja EX Deck

Required Cards

  • Suicune EX Greninja EX Deck
  • Suicune EX Greninja EX Deck

There are 20 cards you should use in the Suicune EX & Greninja EX deck. The cards listed below are the best ones suitable for this deck:

  • 2 Suicuine EX
  • 2 Greninja EX
  • 2 Froakie
  • 2 Rare Candy
  • 1 Giratina EX
  • 2 Pokeball
  • 2 Irida
  • 2 Cyrus
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 2 Giant Cape
  • 1 Mars

Deck Strategy

The Suicune EX & Greninja EX deck focuses on utilising Suicune in the earlier turns, while setting up Greninja. Giratina can be used as a backup damage dealer during the endgame. Try to have Suicune in the active spot during Turn 1, so that you can draw cards using its ability. You can even use the Professor’s Research and Poke Ball to draw cards. Try to evolve Froakie into Greninja EX using Rare Candy cards.

While you are evolving Froakie, try to set up your Giratina EX if you have any. It can be very handy in the late game. Use Irida to heal your Pokemon, and Cyrus to switch your opponent’s card in the active spot. Lastly, use your Giant Cape on your key Pokemon, depending on the situation.

2. Mega Blastoise EX & Suicune Deck

Required Cards

  • Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Blastoise EX Deck
  • Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Blastoise EX Deck

There are 20 cards you should use in the Mega Blastioise EX and Suicune deck. Here’s a list of them:

  • 2 Mega Blastioise EX
  • 2 Squirtle
  • 1 Wartortle
  • 2 Suicune EX
  • 2 Mantyke
  • 1 Non-EX Blastoise
  • 2 Pokeball
  • 2 Rare Candy
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 2 Misty
  • 1 Irida
  • 1 Giant Cape

Deck Strategy

Mega Blastoise EX and Suicune Deck revolves around getting plenty of energy for your Mega Blastoise EX, while your Suicune draws cards. The aim should be getting a Suicune EX or a Mantyke on the active spot, and a Squirtle on the bench. Try getting as much energy as possible with Mantyke until it faints. Later, you can swap to Suicune EX to start drawing cards.

While Squirtle is in the benched slot, try drawing a Wartortle or a Rare Candy to evolve it into Mega Blastoise EX. Use Poke Ball and Professor’s Research to draw cards alongside Suicune EX. Don’t forget that you need at least 6 energy to fully utilise Mega Blastoise EX. You can get energy using the Misty card and pray that you win some coin flips. Lastly, we have Irida for healing, and a Giant Cape for some extra HP.

3. Mega Charizard Y EX & Moltres EX Deck

Required Cards

  • Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Charizard Y EX
  • Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Charizard Y EX Deck (3)

Here’s a list of the cards you should use in the Mega Charizard Y EX & Moltres EX deck:

  • 2 Mega Charizard Y EX
  • 2 Charmander
  • 2 Moltres EX
  • 1 Ability Charmeleon
  • 1 non-EX Charizard
  • 2 Pokeball
  • 2 Rare Candy
  • 1 Cyrus
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 1 May
  • 2 Copycat
  • 1 Lillie
  • 1 Giant Cape

Deck Strategy

During Turn one, try to have one Moltres EX in your active spot. Preserve your Charmander for it to evolve into Mega Charizard Y EX using Rare Candy cards. The deck has enough drawing capacity, with May, Copycat, Poke Ball, and Professor’s Research cards. Use the new Charmeleon if you have one, as it can provide a free fire energy to your active Pokemon, when you are evolving Charmander into Charmeleon.

We have added a non-EX Charizard to counter Pom-Pom Oricorio. The Crimson Dive attack can one-shot any Pokemon, but your card will take 50 DMG. We recommend that you use it on the opponent’s best EX and Mega EX cards to get as many points as possible. In this case, consider using a Cyrus to bring out their best card in the active spot.

4. Mega Absol EX & Hydreigon Deck

Required Cards

  • Mega Absol EX Hydreigon Deck
  • Mega Absol EX Hydreigon Deck

You need 20 cards for the Mega Absol EX and Hydreigon Deck, and the best options are listed below:

  • 2 Mega Absol EX
  • 2 Deino
  • 2 Hydreigon
  • 1 Zwelious
  • 2 Rare Candy
  • 2 Pokeball
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 1 Red Trainer Card
  • 1 Red Item Card
  • 1 Pokemon Center Lady
  • 1 Cyrus
  • 1 Mars
  • 1 Giant Cape
  • 1 Dark Pendant

Deck Strategy

Mega Absol EX Hydreigon Deck uses Hydreigon as the main damage dealer, and Mega Absol EX as the finisher. You can also start the turn with Mega Absol EX and discard your opponent’s support cards, while setting up your Hydreigon. You can also attach a Dark Pendant to your Absol, if you have any.

Hydreigon is one of the best non-EX cards in the game, due to its high damage. Try to draw a Deino as early as possible, with Poke Ball or Professor’s Research. You can use Zwellious to evolve Deino, or use a Rare Candy if you have Hydreigon in your hand. Use Mars and Cyrus to break the momentum of your opponent. Use Giant Cape for more HP and use the Pokemon Center Lady to heal a Pokemon, depending on the situation.

5. Mega Venusaur EX & Lilligant Deck

Required Cards

  • Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Venusaur EX Deck
  • Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Venusaur EX Deck

The Mega Venusaur EX and Lilligant deck consists of 20 cards, which we have listed below:

  • 2 Mega Venusaur EX
  • 2 Bulbasaur
  • 2 Ivysaur
  • 2 Petlil
  • 2 Lilligant
  • 2 Pokeball
  • 2 Quick Grow Extract
  • 1 Cyrus
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 2 Copycat
  • 1 Leaf Cape

Deck Strategy

Mega Venasaur EX Deck is very fun to play with, and almost unkillable as it has the most amount of HP in the game. It will make your opponents rage-quit the game. During Turn one, try to have a Petilil and evolve it into a Lilligant in your active spot. One Lilligant will give your entire team a +20 HP buff, and with two, your entire team will get +40 HP. Your Mega Venusaur EX will have a total of 280 HP, almost making it invincible.

While your Lilligant is active, make sure to stack energy on your Bulbassaur or Ivysaur. The new Quick-Grow Extract card is very important in this deck to help you draw out the Pokemon card you need to evolve into. The deck also has enough card-drawing capacity, with Copycat, Poke Ball, and Professor’s Research cards. We have added a Leaf Cape for extra HP, and Cyrus to snipe your opponent’s key Pokemon. You can even use your Lilligant to counter Pom-Pom Oricorio, just make sure you have at least one saved.

6. Mega Altaria EX & Indeedee EX Deck

Required Cards

  • Mega Altaria EX Indeedee EX Deck
  • Mega Altaria EX Indeedee EX Deck

Here are 20 cards that are the most suitable for the Mega Altaria EX and Indeedee EX deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket:

  • 2 Mega Altaria EX
  • 2 Swablu
  • 2 Sylveon EX
  • 2 Boosted Evolution Eevee
  • 1 Non-EX Altaria
  • 2 Indeedee EX
  • 1 Pokeball
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 1 Red
  • 1 Lisia
  • 1 Irida
  • 1 Cyrus
  • 2 Giant Cape

Deck Strategy

Mega Altaria EX and Indeedee EX deck follows a simple strategy of filling up your Bench Pokemon slots, and Mega Altaria EX being your active Pokemon. During the first turn, your priority should be getting an Eevee. Eevee’s Boosted Evolution Ability allows it to evolve into a Sylveon in Turn one. You can draw cards with Sylveon EX’s ability, Happy Ribbon. Professor’s Research, May, and Poke Ball are also useful for card drawing.

Try to set up your Mega Altaria EX on the bench and then swap it into the active spot. You can do the same by giving your Swablu one Psychic energy, swapping it into the active spot next turn, evolving it, and giving another energy. You can use Indeedee EX for healing, alongside Irida and Giant Cape, to heal your Mega Altaria EX and keep it healthy. Make sure to use non-EX Altaria against Pom-Pom Oricorio, as it prevents damage from EX cards.

7. Mega Blaziken EX & Heatmor Deck

Required Cards

  • Mega Blaziken EX Heatmor Deck
  • Mega Blaziken EX Heatmor Deck

There are 20 cards you should use in the Mega Blaziken EX and Heatmor deck. The cards listed below are the best ones suitable for this deck.

  • 2 Mega Blaziken EX
  • 2 Torchic
  • 2 Heatmor
  • 1 Combusken
  • 2 Pokeball
  • 2 Rare Candy
  • 2 Flame Patch
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 2 Copycat
  • 1 Lillie
  • 1 Cyrus
  • 1 Giant Cape

Deck Strategy

The Mega Blaziken EX and Heatmor deck requires setting up your Mega Blaziken as early as possible. Heatmor can be a great choice to take down those early-game basic Pokemon, which later evolve into Megas and EXs. Use a Rare Candy card or a Combusken to evolve Torchic into Mega Blaziken EX. Draw cards using Poke Ball, Copycat and Professor’s Research. If you are getting low on HP, use Lillie or a Giant Cape.

The Flame Patch card is the ace of this deck, giving your active Pokemon extra Fire energy. This way, as Mega Blaziken ex switches in, you can attach the free Fire Energy and the energy from the Flame Patch to attack right away.

8. Pom-Pom Oricorio & Magnezone EX Deck

Required Cards

  • Pom-Pom Oricorio Magnezone EX Deck
  • Pom-Pom Oricorio Magnezone EX Deck

You need 20 cards for the Pom-Pom Oricorio and Magnezone EX Deck, which are as follows:

  • 2 Pom-pom Oricorio
  • 2 Magnezone
  • 2 Magneton
  • 2 Magnemite
  • 1 X Speed
  • 2 Poke ball
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 1 Pokemon Centre Lady
  • 1 Cyrus
  • 1 Copycat
  • 2 Clemont
  • 2 Giant Cape

Deck Strategy

Pom-Pom Oricorio and Magnezone EX Deck runs on non-EX Pokemon cards, which means your opponents need 3 KOs to win a game. Pom-Pom Oricorio’s Ability prevents any opposing EX Pokemon, helping you set up Magnezone in your Bench. Later, you can bring out Magnezone to the Active Spot and, with the help of the Giant Cape, gain +20 HP.

This deck runs Chingling, which pairs well with Copycat. Chingling’s Jingly Noise can shut your opponents from using Item Cards, increasing the number of cards in their hands. This allows Copycat to draw more cards.

9. Decidueye EX Deck

Required Cards

  • Decidueye EX Deck
  • Decidueye EX Deck

The 20 cards required for Decidueye EX Deck are as follows:

  • 2 Rowlet
  • 1 Dartrix
  • 2 Decidueye
  • 2 Decidueye EX
  • 2 Rare Candy
  • 2 Poke Ball
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 2 Lillie
  • 2 Copycat
  • 2 Giant Leaf
  • 1 Erika

Deck Strategy

As the name says, Decidueye EX Deck focuses on Decidueye EX and non-EX Decidueye for damage. The deck is very straightforward and beginner-friendly. You simply need to set up your Decidueye EX using the remaining support and item cards.

It has a lot of card-drawing options with Poke Ball, Professor’s Research, and Copycat. You can even heal and get more HP with Erika, Leaf Cape and Lillie.

10. Mega Gyarados EX & Milotic Deck

Required Cards

  • Mega Gyarados EX Milotic Deck
  • Mega Gyarados EX Milotic Deck

Mega Gyarados EX and Milotic deck consists of 20 cards, and the best options are listed below.

  • 2 Mega Gyarados EX
  • 2 Mantyke
  • 2 Poke Ball
  • 2 Magikarp (Leap Out attack)
  • 2 Feebas
  • 2 Milotic
  • 1 X speed
  • 1 Red
  • 2 Professor’s Research
  • 1 Misty
  • 1 May
  • 2 Lisia

Deck Strategy

Mega Gyarados EX and Milotic deck deals a lot of damage, and discards the top three cards of your opponent’s deck. Start the round with Mantyke on the active spot and Feebas or Magikarp on the bench. Try to get energy on either one of them, preferably Magikarp.

If you don’t have a Mega Gyarados EX, then draw it out using Poke Ball, Lisia or Prof Research. Remember to evolve your Feebas into Milotic only if there’s damage on your Mega Gyarados EX. That way, you can heal 60 HP, and 100 if paired with Irida. Use Misty for some extra energy, and Red to deal +20 Dmg.

The Pokemon cards mentioned for the above decks are a must-have. You can use other cards to fill the slots, but it might not give you the optimal results. We recommend sticking to the cards that we have listed, as these are some of the best ones and perfectly fit into each deck. If you don’t have any of them, consider asking your friends to share Pokemon TCG Pocket cards. You can even get some free hourglasses using our Pokemon TCG Pocket Codes and open a few more packs.
