There’s a shift in the TCG Pocket Meta, and a few decks have surpassed others in terms of usability and strength. While the new decks shine brighter, some of the old decks don’t fall behind. That said, we have compiled a list of all the best Pokemon TCG Pocket decks you can use in March 2026.

The Suicune EX Greninja EX deck is one of the best water-type decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket. Suicune EX and Greninja are the ace of this deck. Giratina can be used as a backup damage dealer, who mostly watches Suicune and Greninja sweep matches. Professor’s Research and Poke Ball are staples for drawing cards.

We have Rare candies to evolve Froakie, Irida to heal your Pokemon, and Cyrus to switch your opponent’s card in the active spot. Lastly, Giant Cape is here for some extra HP. If you are a beginner who has just started battling, this deck will be your go-to option as one of the best Pokemon TCG Pocket decks in the current meta.

Hydreigon Mega Absol EX Deck

Hydreigon Mega Absol EX Deck is an underdog. This deck can surprise opponents due to its high functionality, as one of the best dark-type decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket. Hydreigon is the MVP in this deck and the main damage dealer. Mega Absol EX can be used as the finisher.

Hydreigon is one of the best non-EX cards in the game, due to its high damage and quick energy generation, which sacrifices its HP. Additionally, Hydreigon, as a non-EX card, costs only one point when taken down. If you like aggressive gameplay strategies, then the Hydreigon Mega Absol EX deck might be one of the best decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket for you.

Mega Gardevoir EX Deck

Mega Gardevoir EX is the new Fantastical Parade Expansion card, which has a lot of potential in the current meta. This psychic-type deck brings back Mewtwo EX and Mew EX in the meta, which were long forgotten.

Mega Gardevoir EX can act as a battery, allowing Mew EX and Mewtwo EX to hit like a truck and KO opponent Pokemon. Pair them with Diantha and Peculiar Plaza, and you’ll be almost unbeatable in ranked matches.

Mega Charizard X EX Deck

Mega Charizard X is a fan favourite Pokemon, and now it has been released in the game with the Mega Shine Expansion. This card can help you build one of the best-ranked Pokemon TCG Pocket decks. But using it can be quite difficult, as you need to maintain the HP of Mega Charizard X EX, while making sure it isn’t knocked out.

This deck lacks healing, which makes using it a bit difficult for newer players. However, with the right cards and proper setup, you can win matches on a continuous streak. If you love Charizard, then go for this fire-type deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

Mega Altaria EX Deck

Mega Altaria EX is one of the very few psychic-type decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket that are easy to play, deal a lot of damage, and are good for ranked matches. Mega Altaria EX is the star of this deck, which can deal consistent damage based on the number of your benched Pokemon. This is quite similar to the very first Pikachu EX that players got in the game.

Indeedee EX and Sylveon EX are some of the best ones to pair in this deck, with some card drawing options like Prof Research, Poke Ball, Lisia and more. If you are a beginner who wants to climb ranks, then this is one of TCG Pocket’s best decks that you can use.

Mega Blaziken EX Deck

Fire-type decks are everywhere, and Mega Blaziken EX is one of the best fire decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket that you can build. You can quickly evolve your Torchic into Mega Blaziken EX, and KO opponent Pokemon before they can even catch their breath.

You can pair Mega Blaziken with Entei, Heatmor and other fire Pokemon. Then you’ve got Poke Ball, Copycat and Professor’s Research for drawing cards and increasing your chances. To top it up, Lillie or a Giant Cape can save your day, and Flame Patch is like a cherry on top, giving you that extra energy.

Mega Gengar EX Deck

Dark-type decks are slowly rising in the Pokemon TCG Pocket meta, and Mega Gengar EX is definitely one of the best ones. While this deck requires a high amount of energy, once you’ve finished setting up, it can leave your opponents helpless. Mega Gengar EX prevents your opponents from using Trainer cards, which is a major component of any well-built deck.

On top of that, you can get plenty of heals with Lucky Ice Pop and Lillie cards, which will keep your ace card alive. The strategy is also quite straightforward, making it one of the best decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

Mega Lopunny EX Deck

If you are looking for the best fighting-type decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket, then Mega Lopunny EX can become your favourite. This deck is fairly easy to build, as the cards you need for this have some of the highest drop rates from packs. Mega Lopunny EX can pack quite a punch to your opponents as it can KO most of the EXs, or leave them confused.

However, this comes at the cost of RNG, as you need to flip coins. To solve this problem, we have the Will Trainer card in this deck, guaranteeing you at least one head. Pair Mega Lopunny EX with Lucario, and thrash other best meta decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

Oricorio Magnezone Electric Deck

Oricorio and Magnezone deck is the only deck on our list that doesn’t require any EX or Mega EX cards. This beginner deck is quite easy to play with, and the cards are also easy to obtain as they are low rarity. With this deck, your opponents need 3 KOs to win a game, rather than aiming for the EX or Megas.

Pom-Pom Oricorio’s ability prevents any opposing EX Pokemon from dealing damage. Magneton can generate energy quickly, setting up your Magnezone. You can always work around with various cards and experiment with strategies to make the most out of one of the best electric-type decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

Meowscarada EX Deck

Meowscarada EX is a grass-type deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket that received a buff with the new expansion’s release. This deck can be quite difficult to use; that’s why we are ranking it lower on our list. But once you’ve mastered this deck, it can compete with some of the best decks out there.

Meowscarada EX, with proper cards and strategy, can deal damage to any of your opponent’s cards at the cost of one grass energy. This can be quite useful to take out those key benched Pokemon. If you like sniping decks, then this might interest you.

While you can always adjust your best Pokemon TCG Pocket decks with your current cards, if you don’t have important ones, consider asking your friends to share cards with you. You can even get some free hourglasses using our TCG Pocket Codes and open a few more packs.
