At its Glowtime event, Apple finally revealed the Apple Intelligence features coming to the new iPhone 16 series. While iOS 18 beta users have got their hands on some Apple Intelligence features, it is not yet available to try if you do not want to meddle with beta updates. If you are excited to try out Apple’s new AI features, here is when Apple Intelligence is coming out.
When Will Apple Intelligence be Available?
Apple has revealed that Apple Intelligence will be available on all supported devices from October onwards in U.S. English. It is expected that Apple Intelligence will start rolling out for users with new OS updates in October. If you are wondering whether you will be able to use the Apple Intelligence feature on your new iPhone 16 right out of the box, the answer is no. Apple Intelligence will arrive next month onwards in the US, even on the iPhone 16.
If you are not a US resident, Apple Intelligence will be available in December in the following regions:
- Australia
- Canada
- New Zealand
- South Africa
- United Kingdom
This will be followed by Apple Intelligence release in Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish in 2025. It’s disappointing that India, despite being one of the most booming markets for Apple, has not been included in the list.

What Apple Intelligence Features Will be Available on Release
At WWDC 2024, Apple already informed us that Apple Intelligence features will be rolled out in a staggered manner. So far, we have seen Apple release the following Apple Intelligence features in beta updates. So we can expect Apple to bring these features to supported devices with x.1 updates.

According to the latest report by Mark Gurman, Apple has delayed notable AI features like Genmoji and Image Playground to the iOS 18.2 beta, which could be released sometime in December. So we won’t have these features available on the Apple Intelligence release. Also, ChatGPT Integration and the new Siri with contextual awareness are not expected until 2025.
