In-development PC and mobile builds of the upcoming Sims 5 Project Rene game have leaked online. As per the leaks available, we now have confirmation of the game using Unreal Engine. Furthermore, Sims 5 will come with Denuvo DRM protection which many gamers found weird.
Titled 'Project Rene', Sims 5 is the next awaited instalment in the long running series. The game is planned to be a free-to-play PC/Mobile title with proper cross-platform and cross-progression available. Furthermore, the team also wants to incorporate social aspects to the game. Based on the current information, we speculate the Sims 5 to launch anywhere from 2025 to 2026.
