Pokemon GO Catching Wonders: All Research Tasks

After its absence for a while, the Master Ball has returned to Pokemon GO. This is all thanks to the brand-new event called Catching Wonders. The new event brings a plethora of research tasks and rewards. If you’ve just started your Pokemon GO journey and want to know everything about the Catching Wonders event, keep reading to find out.

Catching Wonders is an event that is part of the Pokemon GO May 2024 roadmap. This questline brings over a lengthy Masterwork Research. The research provides you with various tasks divided into different steps that are nearly impossible to grind. So, I suggest taking your time with the research event.

Masterwork Research: Catching Wonders brings over various tasks divided into four steps. Once you complete them, you’ll receive one Master Ball in your inventory. The Pokemon GO Catching Wonders runs from May 14, 10 AM to May 19, 8 PM local time.

The Catching Wonders week will reward you for playing the game and finishing the quests such as Stardust, XP, Pokeballs, etc. Additionally, the game will give you 10x XP and 5x Stardust for your first catch and first PokeStop spin during the Catching Wonders event.

Pokemon GO Catching Wonders: All Research Tasks

Let’s have a look at all the research tasks in this ongoing Pokemon GO event:

Step 1 of 4

• Catch 250 Pokemon: 20 Pokeballs
• Use 150 berries to help catch Pokemon: 15 Razzberry
• Make 100 Nice Curveball throws: 2500 Stardust

Reward: 2500 XP and a Sandygast encounter to catch and add the Pokemon.

Step 2 of 4

• Catch 300 Pokemon: 25 Pokeballs
• Make 100 Great Curveball Throws: 15 Pinap Berry
• Transfer 50 Pokemon: 20 Great Ball

Reward: 3500 XP and a Dubwool encounter to catch and add the Pokemon.

Step 3 of 4

• Catch 350 Pokemon: 20 Great Ball
• Defeat 25 Team GO Rocket members: 5 Charged TMs
• Catch 75 different species of Pokemon: 15x Revive

Reward: 4500 XP and a Hisuian Sneasel encounter to catch and add the Pokemon.

Step 4 of 4

• Visit PokeStops on seven different days: 2500 XP
• Catch a Pokemon on seven different days: 2500x Stardust
• Hatch 20 Eggs: Whiscash encounter
• Catch 75 Pokemon in a single day: 20 Ultra Balls
• Make 50 Excellent Throws: 20 Max Revive
• Catch 500 Pokemon: 3 Silver Pinap Berry

Reward: 5000 XP, 5000 Stardust, and one Master Ball
