Although we have already seen a fair bit of Saros’s gameplay, there is still a lot more to learn. Possibly, we will get a cinematic trailer at the State of Play, where the game’s story will be teased to the players.

Marvel’s Wolverine: More Gameplay Reveal

Marvel’s Wolverine is one of the most anticipated games from Insomniac, and we might finally get more gameplay reveal this State of Play. The last gameplay trailer was revealed at the previous State of Play event over four months ago, but it was mostly a cinematic trailer with little gameplay shown. A full-blown gameplay reveal with a release date announcement would be perfect to hype PlayStation 5 players for 2026, which is what we predict for PlayStation State of Play in February.

A new leak has surfaced on the internet about DMC 6 being announced in the State of Play, and it does look trustworthy. With such a long time since the last installment, will Dante return once again? Hopefully, Capcom plans to announce it at the State of Play.

Death Stranding 2 On the Beach was one of the biggest games of 2025, getting nominated multiple times for The Game Awards. However, it is still a PS5 exclusive game, which keeps a large gaming base from enjoying it. Thankfully, the February State of Play is predicted to announce Death Stranding 2 for the PC. Other than that, also expect the Director’s Cut DLC announcement alongside it.

Alongside a Death Stranding 2 announcement, we can also expect Hideo Kojima to tease one of his other games that would be a PS5 exclusive. Currently, only Physint is known to be a PS5 exclusive, and we haven’t had a teaser for it yet. Our State of Play prediction is that the game will finally make an appearance during this event. This will be the perfect time to showcase Physint to the fans and get Kojima fans excited for the future. Previously, Physint’s poster was released by Kojima Productions, so there is a lot to look forward to for fans.

Our State of Play prediction is that the game will get a new trailer. However, Intergalactic won’t be releasing in 2026, as confirmed by the developers earlier this year.

Finally, State of Play predictions cannot go without a God of War entry. A new God of War game has been rumored to be in the work and it might finally be revealed in the February State of Play.

It appears that Grand Theft Auto 6 won’t have any further delays. The game is set to release this November, making February the perfect time to release the third trailer for the game, and hopefully some gameplay elements. Like all previous entries, GTA VI is rumored to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive on launch, so I doubt Sony would pass this opportunity in this State of Play.
