1. Acapulco Season 3 (May 1, 2024)

Acapulco is coming back with another season following the story of Maximo played by Eugenio Derbez. In the last season, we got to know about young Maximo and Julia’s (Camila Perez) relationship. When Hugo persuades Maximo to go and visit Julia, Maximo’s daughter opens the door. Season 3 will focus on Maimo trying to navigate his way around his family while telling the stories of his younger self.

2. Hollywood Con Queen (May 8, 2024)

This is a new Docuseries coming to Apple TV revolving around a huge scam that was going on in Hollywood which ruined several lives. An unknown person would lure people to Indonesia promising them huge career opportunities while posing as influential and powerful women in Hollywood. This is a must-watch show for everyone to become aware of the evils that lurk in this world.

3. Dark Matter (May 8, 2024)

Based on a novel by Blake Crouch, Dark Matter is a sci-fi series that follows Jason Dessen as he gets thrown out of his reality to an alternate one by the Jason of that reality. Now, he has to find his way back to his original reality before the swapped version of him can harm his family. However, I have to warn you that this series is quite dark and mind-boggling so if you’re planning to watch it, go easy and prepared.

4. The Big Cigar (May 17, 2024)

The Big Cigar is a biographical film revolving around Huey P. Newton, the founder of the Black Panther Party, and his great escape from the United States to Cuba from the clutches of the FBI. Newton along with Hollywood producer Bert Schneider staged the creation of a new movie that assisted in Newton’s narrow escape.

5. Trying Season 4 (May 22, 2024)

Trying is coming back with a new season. It is bringing back Nikki played by Esther Smith and Jason played by Rafe Spall and their adopted kids Tyler played by Mickey McAnulty and  Princess played by Eden Togwell. This season will take place six years after the adoption and will majorly revolve around the desire of Princess to reconnect with her biological mother. This series is something you can enjoy with your family because of its theme as well as light-hearted humor.

Dark Matter in Apple TV+ in May 2024 could be the streaming platform’s rival to Netflix’s 3 Body Problem. With a stunning star cast and equally gripping trailer, the TV series is based on Black Crouch’s best-selling book, which is known to be one of the best-selling sci-fi novels of the decade! I’m planning to binge-watch Dark Matter as soon as it arrives. Also, I’m looking forward to The Big Cigar which is about Huey P. Newton, the leader of the Black Panther Party. The biographical drama thriller miniseries is an Apple Original and will drop on May 17, 2024, on Apple TV+.
