1. Open Facebook.com and navigate to the video you wish to download on the platform.
2. Now, click on the 3-dots icon and select Copy link to copy the link to the video.
3. Open a new tab and paste the link in the URL box.

4. Remove the “www” from the URL and replace it with “mbasic“.
5. Press the Enter key, and you should see the old Facebook UI.
6. Click on the video you want to download to open it in a new tab.
7. Now, click on the 3-dots icon and select Download.

The video download should begin, and the same will be saved on your PC or phone. The drawback to this method is the video quality, as it’s restricted to 360p.

Method 2: Download Videos Using a Third Party Website

The easiest way to download Facebook videos is by using third-party video downloaders. SnapSave is a popular service that can easily get the video for you. Here’s how:

1. Go to SnapSave.app.
2. Copy the video link from Facebook by clicking the 3-dots icon and selecting Copy link.

Besides using a third party website, there are a couple of more ways to download Facebook videos on an Android device. Unfortunately, iPhone users will have to suffice with method 2 from the guide above to download videos from Facebook. The methods below won’t work on iOS.

Method 1: Using Facebook on the Web

You can download a Facebook video directly from the browser on Android.

1. Open Facebook.com on a web browser and navigate to the video you want to download.
2. Long-press on the video for more options and tap on Download video. The video should then start downloading.
3. Once downloaded, you can find it in the Downloads directory of your Android device, using a File Manager or simply tap on Open when the download is successful.

Method 2: Using a Third Party App

There are many apps on the Play Store that can help you download Facebook videos in a jiffy. One of them is ahafast.

1. Install ahafast video downloader from the Play Store.
2. Now, open Facebook.com and copy the video’s link by going to the 3-dots icon > Copy link.
3. Launch the ahafast app on your phone and tap on the Home tab.
4. Here, paste the copied link inside the text box and tap on Download.
5. Then choose your preferred download option from SD Video Download and HD Video Download.
6. The downloaded videos are saved in the “Downloader_For_Facebook” folder in your internal storage.
