With every new Fortnite season, Epic makes some crucial changes to the Battle Royale island, and Chapter 7 Season 4 is unlike any other. This time around, the entire Fortnite map is getting a video game makeover, thanks to a plethora of gaming collabs coming to Override. So before you jump out of the Battle Bus, check out all the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 map changes to mark your drop spot.
All New Fortnite POIs Coming to Chapter 7 Season 4 Map
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 leaks and the official Override teaser revealed the new map coming on August 20, 2026, and looking at them, it seems like an array of changes is coming to the Battle Royale island. To begin with, five new locations will be added to the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 map, and they’ll evolve as the season progresses.
That said, here is the list of all the new Fortnite POIs and landmarks coming to Chapter 7 Season 4:
- Geno’s HQ POI
- Sonic Green Hills Zone POI
- Temple POI
- Spire Landmark
- Pac-Man Island Landmark

Geno’s HQ POI
The coolest of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 map changes takes shape in the form of Geno’s HQ. Unlike traditional POIs, Geno’s HQ draws inspiration from a gaming PC. We can see pipes that reference water cooling, and GPUs serving as towers, which also have fans built into them. Judging by the looks of it, Geno’s HQ may replace the Frosted Flats POI on the Fortnite map.
Sonic Green Hills Zone POI
As part of the Fortnite Sonic collab, a new POI called Sonic Green Hills Zone will be added to the map in Chapter 7 Season 4. The region features a distinct Sonic-inspired design, complete with steep slopes and a massive vertical loop at its center. As a result, players will be able to run up the loop and collect Rings along the way for XP. Sonic Green Hills Zone will reportedly replace the Calamari Canyon on the current Fortnite map.
Temple POI
Another of the major map changes coming to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 will be the newly anointed Temple POI. We are not entirely sure what it’s called, but it is being speculated that Crash Bandicoot will be present here as an NPC. This POI will replace Sinister Strip on the current Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map.
Spire Landmark
The Spire looks like something straight out of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Wires connect the structure to the island, while electricity pulses through it and appears to affect the sky above. More importantly, the Spire plays a key role in Geno’s plan in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. It also replaced the Zero Point landmark on the map, which was last seen during the Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event.
Pac-Man Island Landmark
Finally, the Pac-Man Island landmark brings one of the cutest map changes to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. It is in the shape of one of the Ghosts featured in Pac-Man. It is rather massive, but smaller than other locations, which would suggest it can be a landmark that will be present near Heatwave Harbor POI.
Moreover, an aerial view suggests that the island currently contains little of interest. Players won’t find any major structures, vaults, or anomalies there. Perhaps it will serve as a reminder of the Fortnite Pac-Man collab if nothing else.
Every Returning Location in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Map
While the Fortnite island will undergo a few changes in Chapter 7 Season 4, the bulk of it will remain the same. In fact, most of the POIs from Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 will be left untouched, except for Sunken Shores, which is littered with Tetris blocks.

Every Removed Location from Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4
As part of the changes being implemented in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 map, three POIs are being removed from Battle Royale. One of them hosted the Lighthouse in Fortnite, which was associated with the infinite Rare/Relic Chest exploit not too long ago. That said, here is the list of every Fortnite location being removed from Chapter 7 Season 4:
- Calamari Canyon – replaced with Sonic Green Hills Zone POI
- Frosted Flats – replaced with Geno’s HQ POI
- Sinister Strip – replaced with Temple POI
