Fortnite Lobby Hacks

One of the most unique features of Chapter 7 Season 4 is Fortnite Lobby Hacks codes, which can be redeemed in the Battle Royale Lobby via the “Admin Panel” to get rewards. These include things such as XP, Sprite Dust, and rare Sprite variants. We can expect more codes to be added as the season progresses.

Override Battle Pass

With Override now live, the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass is now out. As is the norm, eight individuals have been selected to represent the gaming theme for this phase of the storyline.

Despite the theme for the Battle Pass being Gaming Legends, only one crossover has been featured on it as a skin. If your mind runs to Crash from the Fortnite Crash Bandicoot collab, you would be mistaken. That said, here is the list of skins:

  • Bastian
  • Grace Crowne
  • K1tty W1ns
  • Wrixel
  • Mali
  • Phantom
  • Geno
  • Sonic The Hedgehog

The Override Battle Pass gives players a chance to claim characters like Sonic the Hedgehog and Geno. For those who missed out on claiming The Ageless back in the day, this is your chance to get a variation of the character.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Map Changes: Override Island

The Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event didn’t reshape the island to a large extent. However, based on the patch notes for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, we have learned about some of the new locations. A few POIs have been removed, while others remain.

Here are all the new locations added to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4:

  • Calamari Canyon replaced by Green Hill Zone
  • Frosted Flats replaced by Reality’s Reign
  • Sinister Strip replaced by Stone Sanctum
  • Fortnite Green Hill Zone POI
  • Fortnite Reality’s Reign POI
  • Fortnite Stone Sanctum POI

On a side note, Epic Games has also reworked how fog works. Instead of entire POIs being revealed at once, they will now be made visible in smaller pieces. Additionally, individual landmarks reveal as you visit them; as such, your map reflects exactly where you’ve explored.

New Sprites and Sprite Garden in Fortnite Chapter Season 4

With Sprites staying in Fortnite, the game has introduced a bunch of these new creatures with this update. Based on Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 patch notes, we have learned that a total of 16 new Fortnite Sprites are part of the lineup. Here’s the complete list:

  • Klombo Sprite: Grants random items at each level. You can only level it up by using consumable items that give Health or Shield.
  • Sonic Sprite: Gotta Go Fast! Sprint faster.
  • Tails Sprite: Hover with the Help of Tails!
  • Shadow Sprite: Automatically reload weapons over time, even when unequipped.
  • Jackrabbit Sprite: Perform another jump while mid-air.
  • 8-Bit Sprite: Find an 8-Bit Shotgun in your first Chest and gain a score multiplier for it.
  • Crown Sprite: Gain extra Crown Wins after getting a Victory Royale. You can only level it up by winning matches.
  • Adventure Sprite: Upgrade a random item in your inventory at each Level.
  • Bush Sprite: Spawns a Bush on you after a duration. At max Level, gain a Bush on elimination.
  • Jonesy Sprite: After a short duration, recover some Health or Shield after being damaged.
  • Killswitch Sprite: Enter Hangtime with improved accuracy.
  • Bullet Sprite: Ammo boxes grant slightly more ammunition.
  • Dumpster Sprite: Gather loot from jumping into dumpsters.
  • Honey Sprite: When a nearby enemy damages you, a beehive quickly emerges and releases a swarm of bees toward the attacker.
  • Pond Sprite: Speed in water increases with each stage. Level 5 grants increased jump height and fall damage reduction.
  • X-Ray Sprite: Reveals players through walls and other objects for a short time

Some of these Sprites will be introduced at the start of the season, while others will be added over time. On that note, we are unsure when the Fortnite Design a Sprite winners will be added to the game, probably mid-season.

If you’re missing your Sprites from Chapter 7 Season 3, remember to visit Fortnite Sprite Garden after you log in to meet your older sprites and new sprites you collect.

Epic Games has also shared information on Sprites Quality-Of-Life Improvements. Based on community feedback, a few features have been implemented. These should make it easier for players to interact with Sprites and improve their utility. Here is the list of all the Fortnite Sprite changes:

  • You can now see in-match whether you’ve already collected a Sprite – no more guessing mid-fight.
  • A Sprite’s name now appears when you’re near it, so you know exactly who you’ve found.
  • Summoning rare Sprites and variants now costs less Sprite Dust.
  • Reduced the button-hold time needed to summon a Sprite, getting your companion into the action quicker.

Epic Games is also bringing back Power Hours and Weekly Events starting August 22, 2026. During the Gold Power Hours, Gold Sprite variants will appear on Saturday, August 22, from 2-4 PM ET and again from 9-11 PM ET.

Players will receive an additional Fortnite Portable Extractor item to help them collect Sprites, a 1-Up Token (a solid alternative to the Fortnite Self-Revive Device), and will have a higher chance of finding Midas’ Masterpiece.

Lastly, Sprites will also be part of Fortnite Ranked, but their gameplay powers will be disabled. This has been done to preserve competitive integrity. Nevertheless, if you want to show off your prized Sprite to opponents, you’re free to do so.

All New Weapons and Items in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4

Alongside Fortnite Sprites, a new season is incomplete without new weapons. As per the Chapter 7 Season 4 patch notes, Epic Games has introduced new gear to the Fortnite loot pool. Here is the list of all weapons and items added to the new Fortnite season:

  • Sonic Power Sneakers: Charge a grounded Spin Dash or perform an airborne Spin Attack
  • Mega Buster: The legendary arm cannon fires single energy pellets, quick-charged shots, or long-charged explosive projectiles, even while sprinting or slide-boosting
  • 8-Bit Shotgun: An automatic shotgun designed like a retro 8-bit console. Features game cartridge reloads, pixel effects, and an integrated real-time scoreboard system that tracks combo multipliers
  • Midas’ Masterpiece: A single-fire golden pistol that packs a high-damage punch, capable of eliminating foes in a single headshot.
  • Tetris Rift: Rift in Tetris pieces, culminating in the iconic 4-line Tetris clear, splashes a large AOE heal
  • 1-Up Token: Respawn with your full inventory after you’ve been eliminated.
  • God Mode Llama: Tap into the true power of the Llama to become an Unstoppable Wrecking Ball.

More exciting weapons and items will be added as Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 progresses. We will also get two new weapons as part of a Cyberpunk 2077 collab: The HJSH-18 Masamune Assault Rifle and TKI-20 Shingen SMG.

All New Mechanics in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4

As per the official Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 patch notes, four new mechanics are being added to the game. We have already mentioned the Lobby Hacks, and here are the other three:

  • Loot Hacks: Players will be able to spend Sprite Dust to hack loot in their match, customizing what loot drops. Hacked items have a chance to drop from chests and will vary based on your boosts. This can also reset your Loot Hacks configuration at any time with Sprite Dust.
  • Cheat Codes: During matches, keep an eye out for Cheat Codes hidden across the island. Interact with one and enter the Cheat Code to free a Sprite ally to add to your collection, that’s if you manage to extract it.

Lastly, we have Match Override Consoles. They appear in every match and will let one lucky player rewrite rules for the entire server. However, they need to be the first one to reach it. When activated, the player’s name will be showcased for the duration of the match.

That said, Rare and Mythic Squad Overrides only benefit the first squad to claim them. But keep in mind that claiming one broadcasts your squad’s location on the map. If you don’t want to be hunted for the remainder of the match, avoid using this mechanic. Here’s a list of Overrides:

  • Sonic Speed: Increase your sprint speed over time
  • More XP: Gain more XP from eliminations, looting, and surviving the Storm
  • Loot Hack: You’ll get a loot hack item from the next Chest you open
  • Extra Life: Respawn when on the brink of elimination one time
  • Big Fish: Makes all Fishing Holes golden
  • Constant Heal: Gain constant health and shield regen over time when not in combat
  • Infinite Stamina: Gain infinite stamina
  • Headshot: Deal increased headshot damage
  • Overshield: Gain extra or a new Overshield
  • Speed Shooter: Your weapons fire and reload faster
  • Big Loot: Higher chance to get Epic or Legendary loot from Chests
  • Power Pickaxe: Pickaxe hits deal massive damage

More Overrides could be added as the season progresses. Also, keep in mind that given the nature of these mechanics, we could see them disabled or tweaked if they get too overpowered.

New Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Gizmos

New Extraction Gizmos are being added to the game in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. You will be able to use these Gizmos from your Pickaxe slot in Fortnite during a match. Keep in mind that once consumed, they will not be available again. Be sure to use them judiciously. Here is the list of all the new gizmos in Fortnite Override:

  • Cheat Code Locator: Locates the nearest Cheat Code.
  • Extraction Accelerator: Silently initiate a nearby Extraction Site, summoning the Extraction Crate instantly.
  • Llama Supply Drop: Call in a boosted, llama-themed Supply Drop at your current location.
  • Spicy Taco: Heal up and gain a speed and stamina boost. Consume with your squad for a Taco Time party.

We could see more Gizmos added later on in the season, but for the time being, these will be more than enough to keep you occupied. Make sure to use the Extraction Accelerator when wanting to extract the rarest Sprites in Fortnite quietly and without drawing too much attention.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Quality of Life Improvements

Lastly, with the advent of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, Epic Games has rolled out improvements across the board for various aspects of the game. This includes things like general fixes and addressing issues in Fortnite Battle Royale/Zero Build modes.

  • The Sprite Mastery Pod Locker description no longer shows a random string of numbers.

Battle Royale & Zero Build

Coming to Fortnite Battle Royale and Zero Build, most of the bugs that have been addressed pertain to visual glitches and overall performance for players across all consoles. Here is the list of changes:

  • Redeploying your Glider just before hitting the ground will no longer leave you stuck in a rolling animation.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the Play button to be grayed out when switching experiences.
