Is the Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event Over?
Yes, the Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event is now over. The event began at 2 PM ET and ran for about 4 minutes, with cinematic and gameplay elements. There was no separate playlist for the event, and players instead loaded up in a standard Battle Royale or Zero Build match.
However, damage of any kind was disabled in and around the Zero Point Stabilizer, so players weren’t able to deal any fire or fall damage to one another. Furthermore, gameplay was brought to a standstill while the cinematics were in play, and regular gameplay resumed once the live event ended.
Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event Full Recap
The Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event kicked off with Doctor Slone operating the Zero Point Stabilizer. In the beginning, things were commencing as intended, and we could see the fractured Zero Point slowly become whole. If you’re wondering what the stabilizer is in Fortnite, it is a device that was created by Doctor Slone to help stabilize the Zero Point.
However, in the next moment, the Zero Point Stabilizer was hacked by Geno, and we started to see the stabilization beam change colour. It was corrupted and pixelated for a moment, but Slone was able to take back control of the beam and return it to normal.
Unfortunately, given Geno’s tenacity and sheer grit, the controls were overridden, and Doctor Slone lost control of the beam. Eventually, the beam was corrupted alongside the Zero Point, and spam advertisements began to appear on screen for every Fortnite player.
Towards the end of the Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event, the entire screen was covered with funny ads featuring Fortnite skins and absurd messages, such as: “I’ve been trying to reach you about your Victory Motors extended warranty.”
Shortly after, with the number of ads getting out of hand, the screen completely crashed. After a brief system reboot, players were back on the usual map. However, the Zero Point has now been taken by Geno and replaced with a gaming cartridge, and a Fortnite Sonic Rift Zone has spawned in the center of the map.
Geno also briefly hacked Fortnite’s social media and took over all posts. He also leaked a mysterious code on X which translates to: RULESET UNBOUND | RESTORING KEY // | OVERRIDE X. Shortly after Epic regained access to the X account, Geno still looms behind the shadows, working with someone mysterious as Fortnite Override approaches.
Where to Find Game Cartridge on Fortnite Map: Glitch Zone Location
The Game Cartridge or Glitch Zone Location can be found at the center of the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map where the Zero Point was. Towards the end of the Fortnite Unstable Story Moment Live Event, the Zero Point was completely removed from the island.
In its place, a Game Cartridge can now be seen, which features Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 collabs such as Sonic, Doctor Eggman, Pac-Man, Megaman, and Tetris.
