Best Loot Paths to Farm Pirate Shop Access Token in Fortnite

To put things in perspective, the Pirate Shop Access tokens in Fortnite have a spawn chance of 1 in 700,000, which is around a 0.000143% spawn rate. Don’t worry, there are enough Pirate Shop Access tokens that Epic has put in the game files, so if you haven’t come across one yet and have already deemed yourself an unlucky looper in Fortnite, we’ve got you sorted.

As you may know that the Pirate Shop Access tokens drop from Treasure Hunt Chests in Fortnite, we’ve charted some of the best loot paths for you to follow across Battle Royale matches to make finding the rare token in no time.

The Chest Route

Starting with one of the best loot spots in Fortnite Treasure Hunters mini season is The Chest POI. This location, nestled in the northwest biome of the Crossbones Isle map, has already become a hot drop for many Fortnite players.

The reason is quite simple: this location has the largest number of buried chests (around 34) and loot chests. So, to begin your route to loot the Pirate Shop Access token, start at the cliff east of The Chest POI as soon as you jump out of the Going Merry bus and loot the two chests to get some weapons.

Then, make your way down the cliff using a Shockwave Grenade or Crash Pad and loot the chests below the hill and cross the water to head to the giant One Piece Pirate Chest in Fortnite. Once you’re there, clear the area of any enemies nearby and dig up the buried chest spots to loot the chests.

By now, you’ll have looted over 50 chests in a single Fortnite match. Once you’ve done that and are still not able to find the Pirate Shop Access token, leave the match and start another Fortnite BR match with a new lobby and repeat the drill.

PRO TIP: Dig chests in one direction around the giant pirate chest. Then, shockwave your way up on the giant chest and loot the Treasure Hunt chest there. After that, loot all the buried chests in the area.

Arlong Park Route

Arlong Park is one of the most underrated locations on the Fortnite Treasure Hunters mini-season. This location has one of the most unique chest loot paths that lies between Arlong Park and Windmill Village, where you’ll loot around 15-20 chests most players won’t bother searching.

So, begin east of Windmill Village, and make your way through the sandy beach of Windmill, and then into Arlong Park via a crashed ship washed ashore.

By the time you reach there by following the path as explained above, you’ll have opened 20 chests in a single Fortnite match. If you’re still hard on your luck, repeat the drill again in a new lobby.

Loguetown Route

Loguetown is yet another underrated drop spot in Fortnite Treasure Hunters mini-season, but this route goes south of the POI and slightly north of the Plunder Port POI. You’ll need to hop between four islands, including a giant turtle on the Fortnite map, and loot around 20 chests to be able to come across a Pirate Shop Access token.

Start your loot path from the giant turtle named Henry and then hop your way across the water using Shockwaves or a redeployable glider in Zero Build to open chests and the back. Just make sure you don’t have any of the One Piece fruits like the Flame Flame Fruit in Fortnite equipped, or else you’ll take damage as soon as you touch water.

Once you’re done looting all the Treasure Hunt chests in the Fortnite match, you’ll be able to acquire some of the rarest loot in the game, and if the odds are in your favor, the Pirate Shop Access token!

Buried Treasure Island Route

Finally, we come to one of the best drop locations in Fortnite Treasure Hunters mini season, which is the Buried Treasure Island. It is located in the far northeast corner of the map and has over 30 buried chests for players to loot.

To begin with, land on top of the hill next to the Buried Treasure Island, loot around 10-15 chests there, and then make your way down to the island. Once you’re there, dig out the buried chests like you did at The Chest POI.

Fortnite players are preferring this drop spot as their next choice since it’s far away from the action towards the hotly contested POIs on the island. This is one of the most likely locations where you’ll be able to find the Pirate Shop Access token.

Fastest Fortnite Methods to Get Pirate Shop Access Token

Apart from the best loot spots and routes to get the Pirate Shop Access token in Fortnite, you can also use some of the methods to increase your chances and get the token easily in the game. To do so, employ the following techniques to get the Pirate Shop Access token in Fortnite:

Play in Squads

The recommended method by players who have already claimed the Pirate Shop Access token in Fortnite has one thing in common: all of them played Squads matches in Zero Build and Battle Royale and claimed it with their team together in the match.

So if you’re still planning to go Solo, Duo, or Trio, ditch those lobby sizes for a while and play Squads Fill or invite your friends to help you out. Who knows, maybe you could be the one to get them the Pirate Shop Access token?!

Loot – Lobby – Repeat

One of the most talked-about methods to guarantee higher chances of getting the Pirate Shop Access token in Fortnite is to loot Treasure Hunt chests across the richest spots on the Fortnite map and return to lobby and repeat the drill again.

For instance, if you land at The Chest POI, open around 50 chests and don’t find the Pirate Shop Access token, you should head back to lobby and load into a new Fortnite Battle Royale match. This method will increase your chances by around 20% of getting the Pirate Shop Access token in Fortnite.

Choose a Powerful Sprite

Choosing powerful new sprites like the Fortune Plundarrgh Sprite in Fortnite reveals nearby chests and increases your movement and pickaxe speed each time you open a Treasure Hunt Chest. Combine this with one of the best loot paths mentioned above, and you’ll be unstoppable and spend less than 5 minutes to wipe an entire POI clean of all its chests.

So make use of sprites this season since they can help you get some of the rarest items from the Fortnite loot pool. However, make sure to extract your Sprite if you choose to quit the match mid way so you don’t have to spend Sprite Dust in the lobby to get it back.

Secret Tech / Glitches

Finally, a Fortnite Vault glitch is going viral where players are able to drop into matches, equip the Explosive Cannonball, and throw it inside a locked vault to break open all containers. All you need to do is search chests to find an Explosive Cannonball item, stand in front of a vault door, facing the corners of the vault’s wall, and aim inside the gap between the door and the vault itself.

Then, when you throw the Cannonball, it will go inside the locked vault, and you’ll know whether the chests inside have granted you a Pirate Shop Access token or not. If you’re still unlucky, then repeat the same drill again.
