If collecting Sprites has become your go-to hobby while playing Fortnite, then we’ve got great news for you. Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 has brought back Sprites to Battle Royale gameplay, and alongside some existing Sprites from your collection, a wide range of new Sprites have been introduced. Here’s everything you need to know about all the new Fortnite Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 4.
How Many New Fortnite Sprites Are There in Chapter 7 Season 4?
Epic has introduced 17 new Sprites to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override. This new generation of Sprites is now available to claim, and they bring new abilities to the island for players to experience. They are very different from Sprites you collected earlier in the previous Chapter 7 Season 3.
Five more Sprites will also be added later this season, which were announced as Fortnite Design-a-Sprite contest winners. In the meantime, you can also get some rare Sprites from Fortnite Lobby Hack Codes, so do check them out as well.
How to Get Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4
There are a few ways to get Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. However, don’t expect to find them in Sprite Chests like last season. This mechanic has been vaulted and replaced with Fortnite Lobby Hack Codes and Cheat Codes. Here is what you need to know.
- Fortnite Lobby Hack Codes: With the Fortnite downtime now ended, you can activate Lobby Hack Codes in-game. Some of them will grant you XP and Sprite Dust, while others will give you new Sprites and even their variants. There are multiple codes currently available, and more could be added throughout the season.
- Cheat Codes: Keeping to the Gaming Legends theme, Fortnite has introduced another new mechanic called Cheat Codes. These are hidden and can be found across the island within POIs. They will be sprayed onto the walls, and you can interact with them to enter the Cheat Code to get a free Sprite ally. If you’re unsure about where to go first, have a look at our guide that outlines the map changes for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4.
Aside from the aforementioned methods, you can also acquire Sprites in Fortnite by eliminating players who have them and claiming them for your own. Remember to make use of the new items/weapons added in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 loot pool to have the best odds of succeeding.

Keep in mind that Epic Games will introduce more Sprites over the course of the season. With Fortnitemares around the corner, a Halloween Sprite is definitely on the cards. Maybe a Michael Myers Sprite could be featured for the occasion.

Will Old Fortnite Sprites Return in Chapter 7 Season 4?
Yes, Epic Games earlier confirmed that old Sprites will return in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. This will include some of the rarest Sprites in Fortnite, like the Zero Point and Gem Sprites. However, these Sprites are not yet added to the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 island and will only be accessible via the newly released Sprite Garden.

Regardless, it’s worth collecting as many Sprites as you can, as you will be able to visit them in the Fortnite Sprite Garden when it releases on August 21, 2026. In this UEFN experience, you will be able to interact with them at your own leisure. They are housed here for the foreseeable future.
