Avengers: Domsday might be the biggest movie of 2026, and the anticipation regarding its release is as massive as it gets. However, no plot details are available to us as of now, except for a couple of clips revealing the arrival of Steve Rogers and Thor in the upcoming Avengers movie. Today, the first teaser trailer of X-Men, who are confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, has been released, and here is everything we got to see in the clip.
First Look at Cylops in X-Men Teaser for Doomsday
The first official clip of Avengers: Doomsday, featuring the X-Men, does not show us a lot and features clips of what seems to be a destroyed Xavier’s School. The entire clip has a monologue by Professor Charles Xavier, played by Patrick Stewart, and as the clip reaches its conclusion, we get to see that he is playing chess with none other than Magneto, played by Ian McKellen.
The highlight of this clip is the visual of Cyclops, where James Marsden is returning to play the character, and we see him in his comic-accurate outfit, shooting lasers from his eyes as everything burns to the ground around him.
Now, we can’t figure out which storyline this could be linked to because the X-Men have been off-screen for a while now, and only when the official, full-length trailer of Avengers: Doomsday comes out can we tell what led to such circumstances.
Just like the previous teasers, this one also ends with a message saying “The X-Men will return in Avengers Doomsday”. It would be interesting to see how Doomsday brings together the MCU’s biggest heroes in a singular timeline.
