As Assassin’s Creed Shadows pre-orders began, everyone wondered if the game would require an Internet connection all the time. Thankfully, we now have an answer on the same. After the initial confusion about the internet installation that baffled everyone, Ubisoft came out with an official statement.

The statement posted on the game’s X account clarified that the game won’t require you to stay online. While you will still need a connection to install the game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is not an always online title.
