Early last month, Xiaomi launched its Mi Crowdfunding program in India during the Xiaomi Mi Fan Festival. As part of the program, the company added a curated list of innovation driven products on its website and planned on bringing them to the market only if the crowdfunding was a success.

The company debuted the program with two products that it planned to bring to the Indian market – the Mi Bluetooth Audio Receiver and the Mi Selfie Stick Tripod. In a recent tweet, the company has announced that the crowdfunding round was a “great success” and both the products are now available on Mi.com.
The Mi Selfie Stick Tripod, which is priced at Rs. 1,099 is a unique combination of both a selfie stick and a tripod. The device comes with a handy Bluetooth shutter remote and supports devices running Android 4.3 or iOS 5.0 and higher.
The Mi Bluetooth Audio Receiver, which is priced at Rs. 999, is a nifty little device which can convert any regular wired headphone into a Bluetooth headphone. The receiver includes a dedicated headphone amplifier and supports Bluetooth 4.2. The device sports am in-build 97mAh Lithium battery which is rated at 4 to 5 hours of continuous playback.
If you’d backed the campaign, you should be receiving your products soon and in case you weren’t able to get onboard the crowdfunding, you can head on to Mi.com and order the devices now. While Xiaomi’s debut crowdfunding campaign was a great success, it’ll be interesting to see what the company brings next to its crowdfunding program.
