Who Is Golden Mask in 007 First Light?
Damien Webb is the Golden Mask character in 007 First Light. He is the son of Sir Nicholas Webb, who is the main villain of 007 First Light. When in Vietnam, Bond tries to save Theresa Lorca when he is captured and strangled to a cinder block. This is when he finally finds out that under the Golden Mask is Damien.
Before the Vietnam mission in 007 First Light, Bond uncovers that 009 is not under the Golden Mask. That is when he also finds out that 009 is dead.
Does Golden Mask Die in 007 First Light?
Golden Mask, aka Damien Webb, dies twice in 007 First Light. Yes, you heard that right. James Bond already killed the maniac by throwing him off a building in Vietnam. This happens right after Greeway dies.
However, the evil ones are not easily dead, of course! Damien returns as the Golden Mask again in the final mission, “For England“. He goes on to steal the core of THEIA under the MI6 headquarters. Luckily, 007 stops him, and after the final boss battle, both of them drown in the water.
Agent Roth steals THEIA’s core but also saves James Bond from drowning in the 007 First Light ending. Eventually, Golden Mask Damien in 007 First Light dies from going too deep under the water.
