When is GTA 6 Trailer 3 Releasing?

Currently, Rockstar Games has not confirmed an official release date for GTA 6 Trailer 3. However, the release date of GTA 6 trailer 3 is expected to be on June 25, 2026. This is the same date when GTA 6 pre-orders will go live.

Rockstar Games is likely to release the third trailer for GTA 6 on the same day when the pre-orders go live. The company will also reveal the prices for the various GTA VI pre-order editions, including the rumored standard and Collector’s Edition. We have already received the box cover art today, as seen below.

What to Expect from GTA 6 Trailer 3?

Rockstar Games has revealed the plot for GTA 6 alongside the pre-order announcement. As timing is key when it comes to marketing, I don’t think Rockstar would have revealed such exciting details about the storyline without further plans. Here is the plot point revealed with the GTA 6 key art:

When an easy score lands Jason and Lucia in a conspiracy stretching across the entire state of Leonida, the young criminal couple find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.

If GTA 6 trailer 3 drops on June 25, exactly one week from now, then we can expect to see visuals related to the main story. Other than that, we may finally see in-game gameplay footage, which was limited in the first two trailers. The community has been asking for more gameplay ever since the first trailer dropped, so hopefully, Rockstar Games won’t disappoint us.

GTA 6 Trailer Release Timeline

The first GTA 6 trailer was released on December 5, 2023, while the second trailer took its sweet time to reach us. GTA 6 Trailer 2 was released on May 6, 2025, which means it took 1 year and 5 months between the first and second trailer.

Now, as speculated above, the third GTA 6 trailer is expected to be released on June 25, 2026. If this proves true, there will be a gap of 1 year and 1 month between the second and the third trailer. If we count from the beginning, there will be a gap of 2 years and 6 months between the first and the third trailer release.

The second GTA 6 trailer opens with Jason’s PoV, as he goes to the prison to welcome Lucia after her discharge. This is followed by their shenanigans around Vice City, like robbing stores, getting into fights, going to parties, and more.

We also get to meet some more GTA 6 characters, including Brian Heder, who will be one of the key figures in the game. If Rockstar follows this trend, the third trailer should go more in-depth into the main storyline around Jason and Lucia.
