Today is the day! Rockstar is finally lifting the curtain on the much-awaited gameplay of GTA 6 via an Extended Look on Netflix. The game, which was first revealed in 2021 via a YouTube trailer featuring Tom Petty’s Love is a Long Road has indeed come a long way since fans are finally ready to soak in all the gameplay features coming to GTA 6.

Lucia and Jason Head Out to a Job for Boobie Ike
The GTA 6 Extended Look begins with Jason and Lucia out on a pickup job for Boobie Ike as they look for someone named Raymond. As they enter the building, it’s dark inside, and they are asked to head inside the elevator and meet Raymond on the floor above.
Jason Pets a Dog
As soon as Jason and Lucia walk outside of the elevator, they encounter some NPCs sitting in the hall, where Jason leans over and pets a dog. After all, you’ll be able to pet the dog in GTA 6. Upon petting the dog, Jason earns positive honor karma, and he and Lucia head inside a room to pick up the stash for Boobie.
Jason and Lucia Meet Raymond and Get Trapped in a Police Raid
Jason and Lucia then head inside a room where Raymond is scooping up drugs and packing them up with his gang. One of his goons hands him a phone from someone called Ernesto, who informs him that the police are on the way, and panic ensues inside Raymond’s base.
Moments later, the police break through one of the doors and shoot down two of the drug dealers right in the head. Jason and Lucia take cover as a shootout initiates.
Jason and Lucia Shoot Through to Escape
Jason picks up a pistol and a shotgun and tries to escape Raymond’s base with Lucia, while shooting through the drug dealers and police at the same time. In the scene, Jason shoots at the enemies through walls and eventually manages to escape the base by jumping out the window.
Jason and Lucia’s Base and Driving Across Vice City
Shortly after the intro scene, the GTA 6 logo pops up on screen, and Jason and Lucia can be seen at their home base, getting dressed up to meet someone. In the meantime, Jason opens up the refrigerator and grabs a beer to drink as he watches the TV. Soon, Jason and Lucia sit in the car and head to meet Jason’s buddy Brian at a club.
