Star Wars: The Acolyte is set to make a release on July 4, 2024, with a completely new set of characters. However, since the characters we see here are new, we have a new band of actors coming to our screens and in this article, we are going to talk about the characters appearing in The Acolyte. 1. Lee Jung-Jae as Jedi Master Sol
Lee Jung-Jae is going to play the role of Jedi Master Sol and by the looks of it, he is going to be the main lead of Star Wars: The Acolyte. The trailers tell that the Jedi are being killed by someone who used to be Sol’s student. Now we do not know a lot about the plot of this series but it seems that Master Sol along with the other Jedi will be making an attempt to stop this mass murder.
2. Amandla Stenberg as Mae
Amanda Stenberg is going to play Mae, the student Jedi Master Sol is trying to hunt down. She is hunting down Jedi for reasons that are not revealed in the trailer. She will play the role of the Antagonist who seems to have turned to the dark side and is a Sith Acolyte. In the trailers, we got to see a Sith Lord who remains unnamed but let’s wait and see where it goes.
3. Rebecca Henderson as Master Vernestra Rwoh
The Acolyte is going to feature the first-ever lightsaber whip. According to the lore of Star Wars, Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh was the first and only Jedi to modify her lightsaber to act as a flexible whip-like weapon. Rebecca Henderson is going to play her role. Even though we have not seen a lot of her in the trailers let’s wait and see what Star Wars has in store for us this time.
4. Joonas Suotamo as Kelnacca
One of the most beloved characters in Star Wars is Chewbacca the Wooki and Star Wars: The Acolyte is bringing us the first ever Jedi Wookie named Kelnacca. He is being played by Joonas Suotamo and even though we do not have a lot of details about him based on the trailer, it seems that it will be quite interesting to see him as a Jedi.
5. Dafne Keen as Jecki Lon
The Acolyte is going to bring us a new Jedi Padawan named Jecki Lon who will be played by Dafnee Keen. She is one of the best students of Jedi Master Sol and shows great promise of becoming a Jedi Knight someday.
6. Jodie Turner-Smith as Mother Anesiya
Mother Anesiya, played by Turner-Smith is going to appear as the leader of a cult of witches who live on the planet of Brendok. According to the lore of Star Wars, they hold their independence, Knowledge, powers, and beliefs at high value. By the looks of it, it seems that she might have an important role in the whole scheme of Star Wars: The Acolyte.
