Spider-Noir: Release Date, Trailer, Cast, Plot and Everything We Know

One of the best things Marvel has done is give us the concept of a multiverse set in their cinematic universe. While there is still much to come with its upcoming movies, the introduction of multiple Spider-Men in Into the Spider-Verse, followed by a sequel, is, according to me, where this concept peaked. However, among all these variants, Spider Noir stood out the most and is now set to appear in live-action as a series; here, find out all you need to know about its release date, trailer, cast, plot, and everything else we know so far.

What Is the Release Date of Spider Noir?

Initially, it was speculated that Spider-Noir would be released sometime in the latter stretch of 2026, but as the first teaser of Spider-Noir was released, it was revealed that the series is set to release much earlier than prior expectations.

Spider-Noir is set to release on Amazon Prime Video on May 27, 2026. This release date is set almost just one month before the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, so we are going to be engrossed in Spidey content back-to-back.

Is There a Trailer for Spider Noir?

The first teaser trailer of Spider-Noir is now out, and the interesting thing about it is that it has been released in both black and white and full colour, and will be released in both formats for you to choose from.

Talking about the teaser trailer itself, the clip does not reveal a lot, but we do get our first good look at Nicholas Cage as Ben Reilly, AKA Spider-Man, and a glimpse at Jack Huston as Flint Marko. To completely understand what this series is going to be about, we will have to wait for a full-length trailer, and as soon as it drops, we will be back with more information.

Who Is Playing Spider-Man in Spider Noir Series?

When the Spider-Verse movies came into being, fans loved seeing multiple variants of Spider-Man on their screens. However, one of them stood out to everyone, and it was none other than Spider-Man Noir, voiced by none other than Nicholas Cage. Fans loved him so much that they wanted to see him in his own separate show, and Amazon Prime Video answered.

So, in the upcoming Spider-Noir series, Nicholas Cage will play Spider-Man. Some people were worried that he would be too old to play spidey but looking at the teaser, it’s safe to say that we are in for a treat.

Who Is in the Cast of the Spider-Noir Series?

Spider-Noir does not boast a massive cast, but it does bring in an impressive set of artists to work on the project. First and foremost, Nicholas Cage appears as Ben Reilly, who suits up as Spider-Man. However, in this series, he is just known as ‘Spider’ instead of Spider-Man. We also get to see a version of Black Cat played by Li Jun Li, and in the series, she will just be known as Cat. The main villain of the series will be mafioso Silvermane, played by Brendan Gleeson.

Other than this, we also get to meet an adaptation of Flint Marko, AKA the Sandman, played by Jack Huston. In the supporting cast, we have Lamorne Morris as Robbie Robertson, a Journalist who helps Ben with his investiagtions and Karen Rodriguez as Jeanette, Ben Reilly’s assistant in his detective firm.

What Could be the Plot of Spider-Noir?

The plot of Spider-Noir is being kept under wraps, but we do have some insight into what this upcoming series is going to be about. Spider-Noir will follow Ben Reilly, played by Nicholas Cage, who works as a private investigator in New York City in 1933. We will see him pursue a case regarding the death of Edward Addison, which leads Ben to some unexpected and dark revelations.

Based on what we know so far, this series will operate on a darker tone and will most probably be more like a classic noir detective show rather than being a straightforward superhero show.
