The PlayStation Plus prepaid cards, which allow users to buy games, add-ons, PSN membership and a host of other downloadable content from the store, are now finally available in India.

The PlayStation Plus prepaid cards are currently available in values ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 4,500 for wallet top-ups, going up to Rs. 5,499 for the FIFA 19 Ultimate Edition full game for the PlayStation 4. The availability in India was revealed by GamesTheShop, however, Sony or its PlayStation India team is yet to make an official announcement about the same.

Additional DLC and a few popular titles such as Spider-Man PS4 City Never Sleeps and FIFA 19, alongside in-game FUT points will also be available for purchase in India soon. As of now, the PlayStation Store prepaid cards are currently available on the official GamesTheShop website.

The prepaid cards are available on the PlayStation Store as well as Amazon and other platforms in the United States and a host of other countries, so there is a chance that they might soon make their way to Flipkart, Amazon.in and other e-commerce platforms in India.

The PlayStation Store prepaid cards offer an alternative mode of payment for purchasing games and renewing service subscription, especially if you want to buy the same as a gift, which is essential for India as the PS Store would only accept select debit or credit cards.

The prepaid cards are available in four classes: PlayStation Store Wallet Top-up, Full Games, Add-ons and the PlayStation Plus Subscription for variable durations, which brings benefits such as online multiplayer support, free monthly games, exclusive discounts, free cloud storage and early access to games among others.
