Peacemaker Season 2 is right around the corner, and while we are awaiting its release, there is a good chance that you still have some confusion regarding the cast of the upcoming season. Not just that, before James Gunn cleared the dust, fans had no clue whether Peacemaker would make it into the DCU or would remain his own thing, but luckily, the man of the hour is stepping into Gunn’s world with Season 2. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the complete cast of Peacemaker Season 2, including those reprising their roles from Season 1.
1. John Cena as Christopher Smith / Peacemaker
John Cena is all set to reprise his role as Peacemaker aka Christopher Smith, in the upcoming season of the show, and honestly, it’s no surprise. His performance in Season 1 was a total knockout, and fans clearly haven’t had their fill of this wildly chaotic yet strangely lovable anti-hero. In Peacemaker Season 2, things are about to get even more intense, as Rick Flag Sr. is now on the hunt for Peacemaker, seeking revenge for the death of his son, Rick Flag, in The Suicide Squad. On top of that, this season will also feature a double role twist, which makes everything about the new chapter sound even more unhinged, in the best way possible.
2. Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt
Jennifer Holland is back at it again as Emilia Harcourt, and it looks like her character isn’t done navigating the chaos just yet. After surviving some pretty brutal injuries in Season 1, Harcourt is back on her feet and once again operating as one of ARGUS’ top agents. But things might not be as straightforward this time around, especially with Rick Flag Sr., her boss, now gunning for Peacemaker, the very person she shares a complicated and emotionally layered relationship with. With loyalties possibly being tested and tensions rising, it’s going to be interesting to see which side Harcourt ultimately leans toward in Peacemaker Season 2. So, let’s wait and see how it all unfolds.
3. Steve Agee as John Economos
Steve Agee’s John Economos might end up stuck in the same messy conflict as Emilia Harcourt, simply because, like her, he’s still an ARGUS agent, one who initially teamed up with Peacemaker and Vigilante out of pure professional duty.
But over time, that cold assignment turned into genuine friendship, and now he’s emotionally tied to a guy who’s about to be hunted by his boss. With lines between loyalty, protocol, and personal bonds starting to blur, Economos could be in for a rough ride in Peacemaker Season 2. So, let’s wait and see how things play out for the man behind the keyboard.
4. Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo
Danielle Brooks is set to reprise her role in Peacemaker Season 2 cast as Leota Adebayo, and her arc is shaping up to be one of the most compelling in the series. As the daughter of Amanda Waller, it’s pretty clear by now that Adebayo wants to carve her own path, far away from her mother’s ruthless tactics and manipulative ways.
She’s stepped into somewhat of a second-in-command role, and with her character constantly evolving, we can definitely expect her to take on more responsibility, more moral dilemmas, and possibly more leadership in the upcoming season. There’s a lot brewing with Adebayo, and it’ll be interesting to see how she handles the chaos ahead.
5. Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase / Vigilante
My favorite character in the Peacemaker cast, Vigilante, played by the brilliantly unhinged Freddie Stroma, is making a much-awaited return in Season 2, and honestly, I couldn’t be more hyped. Season 1 marked his live-action debut, and to everyone’s surprise, he stole the show with his twisted sense of justice, deadpan delivery, and pitch-black humor.
He’s the kind of character who’ll make you laugh one moment and wince the next, and that unpredictability is exactly what makes him so magnetic. Because of how chaotic and offbeat he is, it’s genuinely hard to predict where Vigilante’s story is headed this time around, so for now, all we can do is wait and brace ourselves for whatever wild direction he takes once the new season drops.
6. Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith / White Dragon
Robert Patrick returns as Auggie Smith, Peacemaker’s father, but don’t mistake him for just another cranky old man. Auggie is the ruthless leader of the Ku Klux Klan and suited up as the white supremacist supervillain known as The White Dragon in Season 1. And while Peacemaker did kill him off in a confrontation, Season 2 is taking things in a new direction. This time around, Patrick will reprise his role in an alternate dimension, one where both Peacemaker and The White Dragon are considered heroes. It’s a wild twist, and knowing how warped their relationship already was, this version could be even more unpredictable.
7. Nhut Le as Judomaster
Nhut Le made his DC debut as Judomaster in Peacemaker Season 1, mostly serving as a quirky, chip-eating, comic relief villain with some unexpectedly solid fight scenes. But things are changing in Season 2. This time, Judomaster has been recruited by ARGUS and will be working alongside John Economos, a pairing that’s already raising eyebrows, especially since John isn’t exactly thrilled about it. While his role in the first season was more surface-level, Season 2 looks like it might dig deeper into Judomaster.
8. Frank Grillo (Rick Flag Sr.)
One of the most anticipated appearances in Peacemaker Season 2 cast is undoubtedly Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., and while he technically works for the good guys, in the context of this story, he might just end up being the main antagonist. As I’ve mentioned before, Rick Flag Sr. is on a personal mission to hunt down Peacemaker for killing his son, and judging by his brief but intense cameo in Superman (2025), he’s going to be an absolute menace.
Grillo brings a raw, intimidating presence to the role, and if his performance is anything like what we’ve seen before, Peacemaker’s not just running from guilt, he’s running from a one-man wrecking crew with nothing to lose.
9. Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord
Now, if it’s a James Gunn project, a Sean Gunn appearance is almost inevitable; it’s practically a tradition at this point. Sean Gunn has already been confirmed to appear as Maxwell Lord in the new DCU, and in Peacemaker Season 2, he’s expected to show up interviewing Chris, as seen in the trailer, likely because Peacemaker is trying to join the Justice Gang.
That alone opens up some intriguing possibilities, but chances are this won’t be his only appearance. With James Gunn steering the ship, Sean Gunn’s role might end up being more substantial than just a cameo. We’ll just have to wait and see how deep the rabbit hole goes.
10. Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner
Nathan Fillion has already won hearts across the globe with his representation of the infamous Green Lantern, Guy Gardner, and is once again set to reprise his role in Peacemaker Season 2 cast. This appearance was confirmed by the trailer for Peacemaker Season 2, but as of now, we are uncertain about the extent of his role in the upcoming series.
11. Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl
Just like Nathan, Isabela Merced was also confirmed to appear in Peacemaker Season 2 with the first trailer of the upcoming series, where we see Hawkgirl and Green Lantern along with Maxwell Lord interviewing Peacemaker. Just like Nathan, the extent of her role as of now is quite uncertain, but I guess we will have to wait and see if it’s just a cameo or a more involved role.
12. Michael Rooker as Red St. Wild
In a rather interesting update, it was revealed that Michael Rooker, famous for playing Merle Dixon in The Walking Dead and Yondu in The Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, has been included in the Peacemaker Season 2 cast as Red St. Wild, a world-renowned eagle hunter who has set his mind to hunting down Eagley, Peacemaker’s best friend and ally. It looks like this arc of Eagley and his arc nemesis could be a side plot incorporated in the show, but it is quite interesting.
13. Tim Meadows as Langston Fleury
Tim Meadows is another brand new addition to the cast of Peacemaker Season 2, who will play the character of Langston Fleury. Not many details are available regarding his character, but as of now, all we know is that he will appear as an A.R.G.U.S. Agent, probably a high-ranking one. So, we will have to wait till Peacemaker Season 2 releases to find out more about this character.
14. Sol Rodríguez as Sasha Bordeaux
Sol Rodríguez has been confirmed to appear in Peacemaker Season 2 as Sasha Bordeaux. This is a rather interesting addition to the show since her character, Sasha Bordeaux, was the bodyguard of Bruce Wayne in DC comics. However, she later turned into a super-skilled cyborg spy and eventually joined Checkmate. While it would be interesting for James Gunn to soft-launch Batman to us but sadly, it has been confirmed that this version of Sasha will have no contact with Bruce Wayne whatsoever.
