Micromax recently launched the Unite 2 A106 to compete against the likes of the Moto E and Lumia 520 and now, another Unite smartphone has been listed on the Indian manufacturer’s website. The Micromax Unite A092 has been listed on the website along with the specs but minus the pricing.
Similar to the Unite 2, the Micromax Unite A092 will come with support for 20 Indian languages. The specifications of the device are also listed. It will come with a 4-inch display of WVGA (800x480p) resolution. The device will be powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and 1 GB RAM. There’s 8GB of internal storage along with microSD expansion up to 32 GB.
The Micromax Unite A092 will pack in a 5 MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 0.3 MP aka a VGA front facing camera. Micromax has equipped the device with a 1500 mAh battery. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean runs the show, which is disappointing considering Unite 2 features Android 4.4 KitKat, which has been optimised to run better on modest hardware such as these. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Unite A092 is listed to be coming in a variety of colors including White, Black, Red, Grey and Yellow. The device is expected to go on sale later this month and while Micromax hasn’t revealed the pricing, we can expect it to be around Rs. 5,000-6,000.

Micromax Unite A092 does seem like a decent device and in the end, all will depend on the price. If the price is what we expect it to be then it’s a great device from Micromax. The 1 GB RAM and Qualcomm processor should help the device run smooth most of the times. Then, there’s the added advantage of a front facing camera and a rear camera with flash.
