Marvel Rivals Season 8 Roadmap: Full Season Schedule

Thrilling times are ahead for Marvel Rivals fans as the new season is shaping up to be a promising season rich in content. After unveiling the new heroes of the upcoming season yesterday, NetEase Games has finally revealed the roadmap for Marvel Rivals Season 8. Marvel Rivals Season 8 Roadmap

Marvel Rivals Season 8 will be released on May 15, 2026, at 9 AM UTC. The new season is confirmed to last until June 12, during which the mid-season update will go live. That said, here is the complete roadmap of Marvel Rivals Season 8 as shared by the game’s official X account today:

May 15 – Season 8 Release

• New Hero: Devil Dinosaur
• New Event: Devil Dino Hide and Seek
• New Battle Pass: Project – Hero Age
• New Costumes:
  • Devil Dinosaur “Chrono Armor”
  • Deadpool “King of Monsters”
  • Hulk “Infinity Hulk”
• New Accessories

The all-new Marvel Rivals Season 8 launches on May 15 with the debut of Devil Dinosaur. He is a new Vanguard who is set to stomp across the entire front line of enemies. As you would expect from a dinosaur, he has razor-sharp jaws and claws, which will inflict a bleed effect. In addition, the Devil Dinosaur can also shoot a laser beam out of his mouth.

Besides the new hero, a new event called “Devil Dino Hide and Seek” will be introduced during the season 8 launch. Although we don’t know much about the new event, Devil Dinosaur’s companion, Moon Girl, will be the centerpiece of the event.

Furthermore, we will get a new battle pass as usual, and it’s titled ‘Project: Hero Age.’ New premium costumes for Devil Dinosaur, Deadpool, and Hulk, along with many accessories, will be available in stores during the new season’s launch.

May 22 – New Events and Costumes

• New Event: Savage Adventures
• New Costumes:
  • Peni Parker “ESU College Life”
  • Daredevil “Shadowed Start”

After two volumes of the Marvel Rivals Flight Mode event, we are set to get a wildlife-themed Savage Adventures event featuring new skins for Hela, Luna Snow, and Ultron. In addition, new costumes for Peni Parker and Daredevil will also be available in stores on May 22.

May 29 – New Map and Costumes

• New Map: Alchemax Headquarters
• New Costumes:
  • Black Cat “Formula R”
  • Wolverine “Corporate Raiders”

As revealed in Marvel Rivals Season 8 Patch Notes, Alchemax Headquarters, a Doom Match map, will be introduced on May 29, 2026. Players can look forward to close-combat fights within the HQ. Apart from the new map, Black Cat and Wolverine will be getting new outfits on the same day as well.

June 5 – New Iron Man and Mantis Cotsumes

• New Costumes:
  • Iron Man “Iron Samurai”
  • Mantis “ESU College Life”

And the final set of new content for Marvel Rivals Season 8, before the mid-season update drops, is two new costumes. Iron Man is getting a Samurai-themed armor, and Mantis is finally getting her ESU College Life skin.

June 12 – Season 8.5 Release

Marvel Rivals Season 8.5 update will go live on June 12, 2026, as confirmed by the newly revealed roadmap today. Cyclops will join the Marvel Rivals Hero Roster in the mid-season update. Following the Cyclops’ arrival, you can expect the second phase of the Avengers event to kick off in late June. The next Avengers mode will primarily focus on the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
