Marvel Rivals Season 9 Roadmap: All Upcoming Events, Skins, Game Modes, and More

Marvel Rivals Season 9 is the biggest update yet, jam-packed with exciting new content. Following the special live stream, NetEase Games has unveiled the complete roadmap for Marvel Rivals Season 9. Complete Marvel Rivals Season 9 Roadmap

Marvel Rivals Season 9 launches on July 10, 2026, at 9 AM UTC. The brand-new season will run until August 7, after which the Season 9.5 mid-season update will go live. Thus, NetEase Games will be releasing new costumes, events, game modes, and more, back to back in the following weeks, as confirmed in the official Marvel Rivals Season 9 roadmap post:

July 10 – Marvel Rivals Season 9 Release

• New Hero: Jubilee
• New Changes: Team-up ability overhaul and Black Widow character rework
• New Battlepass: The Faith-Harvesting Engine
• New Events: Death of Apocalypse and The Resurrection of Horsemen
• New Costumes:
  • Jubilee “Midnight Mutant”
  • Rogue “Raider Prime”
  • Wolverine “Horsemen of Death”
• New Accessory: Shogo Tote

Following the X-Men leader, Jubilee is joining the Marvel Rivals hero roster in Season 9. The firecracker is revealed to be the new Strategist in the game. As expected, Jubilee’s kit is themed after her fireworks. Thus, players can use her Lumikinetic Explosive Light Blasts to heal allies and knock down opponents simultaneously. With a unique kit, Jubilee is all set to become one of the best Strategists in Marvel Rivals.

In case you haven’t heard, NetEase Games has completely reworked Black Widow‘s character and all the team-up abilities in the game. Thus, we are about to experience a new version of Marvel Rivals in Season 9. With the new season’s arrival, the Faith-Harvesting Engine battle pass is getting added to the game.

If you are wondering what new events will be available at launch, devs have revealed the Death of Apocalypse and The Resurrection of Horsemen events, which will possibly offer free Units and free Marvel Rivals skins. Speaking of skins, Jubilee’s Midnight Mutant, Rogue’s Raider Prime, and Wolverine’s Horsemen of Death costumes are coming to stores in Season 9. Lastly, Shogo Tote, a new accessory for Devil Dinosaur, is also being added to the game.

July 17 – Van Dyne Couture Event and New Costumes

  • Hawkeye “Van Dyne Designs”
  • Devil Dinosaur “Jeff the Dinosaur”

The first event pass of Marvel Rivals Season 9 is Van Dyne Couture, which arrives in the game on July 17. Magneto, Invisible Woman, and Adam Warlock are confirmed to receive new costumes from the popular fashion designer, Van Dyne.

In addition, Gambit’s Horsemen of Death, Hawkeye’s Van Dyne Designs, and Devil Dinosaur‘s Jeff the Dinosaur skins are headed to the store.

July 24 – Thebes Convoy Map and Egyptian Costumes

• New Map: Thebes
• New Costumes:
  • Hela “Temple Protectors”
  • Psylocke “Horsemen of Death”

As seen in the Marvel Rivals Season 9 trailer, Thebes, a new map based on ancient Egypt, is coming to the game. Thebes has been confirmed as a new Convoy in Marvel Rivals. Unfortunately, the new Convoy map won’t be available on the Season 9 launch day and will instead arrive on July 24.

On the same day, Hela’s Temple Protectors and Psylocke’s Horsemen of Death exclusive skins will be available in the in-game store.

July 31 – New PvE Mode, Spider-Man: Brand New Day Costumes, and More

• New Mode: Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Age of Ultron
• New Costumes:
  • Spider-Man “Brand New Day”
  • Hulk “Brand New Day”
  • Scarlet Witch “Avengers: Age of Ultron”
  • Winter Soldier “Avengers: Age of Ultron”

A new PvE mode, Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Age of Ultron, based on the Avengers movie, is finally coming to the game on July 31 after being postponed. Unlike the Avengers PvP mode, it seems players will be united to fight against Ultron, as it is a PvE mode.

Since Spider-Man: Brand New Day is releasing on July 31, 2026, NetEase Games is adding brand-new skins for Spider-Man and Hulk based on the upcoming movie. Moreover, Scarlet Witch and Winter Soldier are also getting new skins inspired by their outfits in the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie.

August 7 – Marvel Rivals Season 9.5 Release

And that’s the end of the road for Marvel Rivals Season 9. Season 9.5, the mid-season update, is releasing on August 7, 2026. The latest trailer confirmed that The Hood is officially joining the roster in Marvel Rivals Season 9.5. While his role remains shrouded in mystery, the recent leaks suggest that The Hood will be a Vanguard in the game. So, sit tight until we get to see Parker Robbins in Marvel Rivals Season 9.5 next month.
