Yesterday, Apple launched the brand new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max at an event held in the company’s Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, California, and we now have the India pricing for these iPhones.
The new iPhones come with some major improvements over last year’s iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. For starters, the iPhone 11, which is the upgrade to the iPhone XR now comes with a dual camera — a 12MP wide + 12MP ultra-wide lens — on the back, which also means that the iPhone 11 can finally take portrait shots of objects and pets, and not just people. There’s still the same 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display, so no big surprises there, but the phone does come with the new A13 Bionic chipset which Apple says is even faster, and is built on the 7nm process.
The iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max, on the other hand, come with Apple’s first ever triple camera set-up on a phone — a 12MP wide + 12MP ultra-wide + 12MP telephoto lens — and there are some cool camera features in tow, including the new camera app on the phones. The display sizes are still the same, with the iPhone 11 Pro packing a 5.8-inch OLED display, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max packing a 6.5-inch OLED display. However, Apple claims that these displays are now brighter, better, and more power efficient, and has even renamed them to Super Retina XDR displays.
The iPhone 11 will be available in India starting September 27, and is priced at Rs. 64,990 for the base variant. The iPhone 11 Pro, is priced at Rs. 99,990, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max is priced at Rs. 1,09,900 in India.
