How to Give Robux to Friends in Roblox

Robux is the premium currency in Roblox that lets you buy avatar items, game passes, private servers, and more. If you’re wondering how to give Robux to friends, Roblox now offers several official ways to do it. While eligible Roblox Plus members can send Robux directly to another player, everyone else can still use methods like gift cards, game pass purchases, donate through creator items, and Community payouts. Below, we’ll show you how to send Robux to a friend on both PC and mobile.

How to Give Robux to Friends on PC

If you want to send Robux to a friend or another player from your computer, Roblox offers a few official methods. Some require Roblox Plus, while others involve supporting your friend’s creations or using Community payouts.

1. Send Robux with Roblox Plus

The easiest way to send Robux to a friend is through Roblox Plus. To send Robux, you must subscribe to Roblox Plus first, but the friend you are sending it to doesn’t need the subscription. Here is how you can send the Robux as a Plus member:

• Open the Roblox app and click the Robux icon at the top of your screen.
• Select the Send button.
• Enter the Username of the recipient or select a friend’s name from the list.
• Specify the Amount you want to transfer and click Continue.
• Review the transfer details and hit Send.

Note: Keep in mind that this feature is only available for eligible Roblox Plus accounts. Depending on your region or account settings, it may change. Roblox may also require identity verification or parental approval before allowing transfers.

2. Roblox Gift Card

If you don’t have access to Roblox Plus, a Roblox Gift Card is one of the safest ways to give someone Robux. You can buy either a physical or digital gift card from Roblox or authorized retailers.

• Once on the Roblox gift cards page, select the A FRIEND option, write the recipient’s name and your name, and select the card type.

To buy the pass and give Robux, go to the creator’s experience page and click the Store button. Now, click the Buy button under the pass you want to buy.

Robux transfers through game pass purchases aren’t instant. It can take up to 3 days for a sale to be finalized and for Robux to show up in your account. Sellers receive only 70% of the selling price because Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee.

4. Donate Robux to Friends

Similar to supporting through a game pass, Roblox users can also buy other stuff from creators to give them Robux. This is also called the donation method. A creator can create any clothing item, including a custom shirt, and put it up for sale in the marketplace. You can buy that clothing item from the marketplace, granting the creator Robux in the process.

Once your friend has Roblox Premium or Plus, ask them to create a custom shirt on Roblox. Now, ask them to put the item up for sale in the Roblox catalog from the same page. After they are done uploading the item for a desired price, you can buy it from the marketplace.

Simply go to the marketplace and click the Buy button under the item. Once you confirm the purchase, your friend, aka the creator, will receive the Robux. Keep in mind that Roblox will take a 30% marketplace cut on the selling price.

Your friend (the creator) must get a Roblox Plus or a Premium 1000/2200 Membership. This will allow them to create donation items. So, if you don’t want your friends to purchase a Roblox Plus high-tier subscription, get the cheapest one by yourself and directly donate Robux through the first method.

5. Send Robux Through a Community

While individually giving a creator Robux can be a little less, one way you can find help here is through Roblox Community. Through this method, you and your friends can still sell the items, but it will be done through the group funds. Follow the steps below to learn how to do so:

Create a Roblox Group

• Go to the Roblox Community creation page and fill in the necessary blanks.
