FiiO, the renowned high-end audio equipment brand, has today launched the FiiO M7 lossless digital audio player in India priced at Rs. 19,990. The FiiO M7 is a fully decked out high-end audio player with support for aptX/aptX-HD audio codec to let users enjoy high fidelity music. As an introductory offer, you can buy the FiiO M7 at a discount of Rs. 3,000 from FiiO’s official website and Amazon.in, where it is currently listed at Rs. 16,990.
The FiiO M7 has a unibody metal build and features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 480×800 resolution which also has also support for swipe gestures to navigate the UI, in addition to hardware buttons. The FiiO device has a USB Type-C port which can be used for charging, file transfer as well as music playback via Type-C headphones, alongside a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The FiiO M7 is powered by a dual-core Exynos 7270 processor clocked at 1GHz, ticking alongside ESS Sabre 9018 chip designed by ESS, which has a signal-to-noise ratio of -121dB and support for up to 384kHz/32bit PCM and 11.2 MHz DSD audio. The device also supports Sony’s LDAC wireless audio codec, which ensures audio data is transmitted at 3X faster speed for hi-res audio playback and also features a Bluetooth 4.2 chip with support for aptX/aptX-HD.
The new FiiO audio player also has a dedicated FM chip with a specialized DSP for superior digital receptions and can tune into the frequency range of 76MHz-108MHz for coverage in five regions across the globe. The device can play APE, WAV, FLAC, WMA, OGG, AAC and ALAC among a host of other file formats. The Fiio M7 packs a 1,880 mAh battery which is claimed to provide around 20 hours of playback time and 40 days of standby time, and can be fully charged in approximately 2.5 hours.
The only downside of the FiiO M7 is that it only has 2GB of internal storage, however, it can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. The device comes in Black, Silver and Red color options and will soon be available from major offline and online retail stores as well as FiiO’s official website.
