Dragon’s Dogma 2 features an amazing best combat system reminiscent of the true D&D mechanics. The vocations in DD2 are the essence of its combat system. That is because each vocation is tied to a playstyle and defines your in-game journey. However, if you ever want to change how you approach and play the game, you can easily change the character’s vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Changing Vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is simple. The players need to find Vocation Guilds in their world, which are generally near Inns or merged with an Inn.

Simply enter the Vocation Guild and talk to the merchant. When you do, you will see the Change Vocation option. Select this option, and you will see the Vocation list.

Now, you might find some of the game’s vocation missing because advanced vocations can only be selected after you have unlocked them. To acquire a new vocation, you will need to spend Discipline points, which can be obtained by leveling and gaining experience. After you have learned a vocation, you no longer need to spend Discipline points to change to it.

In Dragon’s Dogma 2, there are a total of 10 vocations — Archer, Fighter, Mage, Thief, Warrior, Sorcerer, Warfarer, Trickster, Magick Archer, and Mystic Spearhand.
