Embark Studios never fails to introduce a new map condition that becomes a living hell for all raiders. Only a few weeks after the Hurricane map condition, Arc Raiders is back with a new major map condition called Arc Operations: Close Scrutiny. How to Survive Close Scrutiny Map Condition in Arc Raiders

Unlike the Hurricane map condition, the new Close Scrutiny map condition is not based on a weather change. Instead, the Close Scrutiny map condition available in all maps (Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, and the Blue Gate) except Stella Montis features a hostile army of ARC threats to deal with, unlike ever before.

In the first ARC operation, the all-new Vaporizer, along with many other ARC enemies, guards the new probe Assessor, turning all regions into dangerous territories. Moreover, this map condition has no active locked doors, has a decreased amount of overall loot value, but you will get a lot more loot than usual.

As the Embark devs say, this new map condition is not for the faint of heart. Close Scrutiny is for raiders who are all in for a gruelling fight against the ARC enemies, especially Vaporizer.

What are Assessors in Arc Raiders Close Scrutiny?

Assessors are massive probes that only spawn during the Close Scrutiny map condition. Once you enter any Arc Raiders map, except Stella Montis, with this map condition, giant probes begin landing across different regions.

You will hear a distinct sound, and the landing area of the Assessor probe will be marked on your map with a probe icon instantly. Once you are nearby, you can see three red laser beams shooting into the sky from the probe.

The Assessor contains the new weapons blueprint, the Dolabra shotgun, the Canto SMG, and many more valuable resources. As you begin breaching and searching the Assessor probe, a loud alarm will be set off, and you will be swarmed by the ARC enemies, including the Vaporizer, in an instant.

Thus, your only option is to fight these ARC threats and eliminate them to collect the loot inside the probe. Or you can sneakily try to loot the resources while using the Photoelectric Cloak as an enemy squad is busy taking down the ARC threats. The new Vaporizer can instantly melt your shields and health, so be cautious of them while breaching the Assessor probes.
