Best Sniper Loadouts in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

Long-range engagements are fairly common in Warzone, which is why Sniper rifles are among the most popular weapons in the game. Verdansk features an impressive amount of verticality as its towering skyscrapers make for excellent Sniper nests and camping spots. This is why you can easily find yourself being hammered from across the map. So, it’s essential to have the right weapon to retaliate. Recent updates have also increased the potency of Sniper loadouts, making them all the more satisfying to use. With this in mind, here are the best Sniper loadouts for Warzone Season 3 Reloaded.

1. HDR

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Gain-Twist Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Lightweight Bipod
  • Magazine: Extended Mag 1
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

If you’re even somewhat familiar with the HDR’s legacy, then you probably know the reason behind its current dominance. The classic Verdansk Sniper returned to Warzone at the start of Season 3, and its one-shot kill capabilities immediately sent streamers and pro players into a frenzy. The Sniper might be bulky, and its ADS times are far from quick, but nothing else hits nearly as hard. You can easily down full-plated enemies with a single shot using a kitted-out HDR, making it an obvious shout for the number one spot. Make sure to use our loadout to maximise its damage potential.

2. LR 7.62

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Lightweight Handguard
  • Laser: Target Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

The LR 7.62 was previously the meta Warzone Sniper, a status it conceded to the all-powerful HDR. With that being said, the BO6 Sniper remains a top-tier long-range rifle, offering excellent bullet velocity and damage range.

These attributes, paired together, make it easier to predict the bullet’s arc while targeting enemies over long distances. Its ADS times are also decent for its size, just make sure to use our recommended loadout to get the best out of the Sniper.

3. Kar98k

  • Optic: Range Caller v3.4 Optic
  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor L
  • Barrel: Prazisionsgewehr 762 Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop
  • Ammunition: 7.92x57mm High Grain Rounds

The best word to describe the Kar98k is ‘evergreen‘, since the fan-favorite Marksman Rifle has been a consistent performer across all its iterations in Warzone. In Season 3, it remains capable of one-shotting enemies up to 70 meters, all while providing solid ADS times and incredible mobility. While its bullet velocity does fall behind the absolute meta Snipers, the Kar98k is still a formidable pick.

4. LW3A1 Frostline

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Barrel: CHF Barrel
  • Stock Pad: Lightweight Pad
  • Fire Mods: 7.62 Nato Overpressured
  • Comb: Quickdraw Riser

The LW3A1 Frostline doesn’t excel in any particular department, nor is it a jack-of-all-trades Sniper. But what the weapon does have going for it is great bullet velocity, damage range, and handling. This makes it incredibly smooth to use as you’ll be gliding through the streets of Verdansk while chaining shots in rapid succession. In terms of stopping power, the LW3A1 Frostline can offer one-shot elimination when equipped with the attachments listed above.

5. KATT-AMR

  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL
  • Barrel: Zang-34 Barrel
  • Laser: SL Razorhawk Laser Light
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity
  • Bolt: Ephemeral Quickbolt

The sheer power packed into the HDR makes the KATT-AMR somewhat redundant, but it’s still an excellent alternative if you’re looking for a no-nonsense Sniper made to pulverize enemies from afar. The Modern Warfare III weapon might be slow and clunky, but it still hits like a truck all these years later. To boost its impressive damage output even further, throw on the Zang-34 Barrel and .50 Cal ammunition along with the rest of our recommended loadout, and you’ll have a wrecking ball of a weapon.

Best Sniper for Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

There’s no denying the HDR when it comes to Warzone. It’s by far the best Sniper in the game currently, which actually makes it the prime target for a nerf. In case that nerf arrives via a balancing update, we recommend switching to the LR 7.62 for large maps, while the Kar98k is easily the best pick for Rebirth Island.

That wraps up our picks for the best Snipers in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded. Which is your favorite Sniper on the list? Be sure to let us know in the comments.
