Valorant’s 9th Duelist, Hush, arrives as Agent 31 with a high-skill kit centered around telekinesis and purple crystal powers. Unlike pure speedsters like Jett or Neon, Hush plays as an Initiator-Duelist hybrid. She combines the longest dash in the game with guided crowd control, adaptable flashes, and long-range object manipulation. If you want to master Hush in Valorant, here are all her abilities, along with quick tips and tricks to use them effectively.
All Valorant Hush Abilities Explained
When we first witnessed the revelation of Hush in Valorant, her kit seemed quite overwhelming. Well, before we jump into the tips to play the agent, here is the list of all her abilities:
Telekinesis (Passive / F)
Align your crosshair and press your interact key (F) to grab weapons, pick up the Spike, or hit map switches from around 36 to 37 meters away. Telekinesis has a 30-second cooldown.

The target must be in your direct line of sight (it won’t work through walls or smokes). However, items will phase through closing doors if you trigger the switch and grab the item immediately.
The range for grabbing weapons and the Spike is slightly longer than the range for triggering door switches. Telekinesis makes Hush one of the best objective-securing agents in Valorant.
Flow (C)
Place an anchor anywhere and propel yourself toward it. Using it mid-air lets you hover and curve your movement path around obstacles.

Flow is the longest dash in Valorant, surpassing Jett, Raze, and Waylay. Depending on where you aim, you can execute high aerial entries (by jumping before dashing) or fast, low-to-the-ground slides by aiming directly at the floor.
Flashbulb (Q)
EQUIP a flash device similar to KAY/O. FIRE (left-click) to throw it directly, or ALT-FIRE (right-click) to prime it on your shoulder for quick use while keeping your weapon out. When thrown or primed, press Q again to redirect the projectile toward your crosshair and detonate it.

This functions as one of the most versatile flashes in the game. You can bounce it off walls for fake flashes, set up one-ways, or prime it before dashing to blind enemies the exact second you enter a site.
Displacement (E)
EQUIP a gravity projectile that uses the same firing and guiding mechanics as Flashbulb (FIRE to throw and redirect, ALT-FIRE to prime). Upon detonation, it pulls players toward the center. The ability refreshes every 2 kills, similar to how Raze gets paint shells and Neon gets slide back.

Note that the pull itself from Valorant agent Hush’s Displacement does not stun enemies by default. To concuss opponents, they must collide with another player or a solid surface like a wall or box. It also affects Hush, meaning you can throw it at your own feet to sling yourself out of a corner for a fast peek.
Suspension (X) – Ultimate
Launch a guided orb that moves in the direction of your crosshair. Reactivate or FIRE to detonate the orb early, lifting all caught enemies into the air, disarming them, and preventing them from using Valorant weapons or abilities.

Enemies caught in Suspension are left completely defenseless. Keep in mind that while the orb cannot be shot/destroyed by regular gunfire and can brush against vertical walls without popping, it will automatically detonate the moment it touches any walkable surface (floors, boxes, or ledges).
Best Tips and Tricks to Master Valorant Agent Hush

To get the most out of Hush’s high skill ceiling, use these practical tips and tricks in Valorant and rank up faster:
- Dual-Prep Before Entries: You can prime both Flashbulb (Q) and Displacement (E) on your shoulder via right-click at the exact same time while keeping your gun out. Prep both before dashing into a site to blind and pull defenders simultaneously. Just watch the prep timer so they don’t expire.
- Master Dash Tech (Quick Slide, Pagani Peek & Momentum Cut): A regular high dash leaves you floating in the air for too long. Pull your crosshair down mid-dash to cut momentum and hit the ground faster. To execute a Neon-style Quick Slide, aim slightly above a surface, jump before the dash pops, and hold crouch at the peak of your jump. You can also aim Flow (C) at a 30-45° angle against a wall to slide across it for an unreactable Pagani Peek. Otherwise, place the anchor at 45° and turn your screen so it sits at the edge of your monitor while holding S + A/D for a Super Dash.
- Use the Minimap to Guide Redirects: Because redirected Displacement (E) and Flashbulb (Q) projectiles travel in a dead-straight line toward where you face, watch your minimap while the projectile is flying to time your second key press accurately around corners. On defense, prep Displacement to yank Jett or Neon players straight out of their smokes on audio cues, or pull enemies completely off ledges on maps like Abyss.
- Dive-Bomb With Ultimate Immunity: Hush is completely immune to her own Suspension (X) ultimate. You can fire the orb, immediately fast-dash directly onto the enemy’s position, and detonate it right at your feet to levitate everyone around you while you shoot freely.
- Deny Clove and Sage Revives: When your team gets a pick and an enemy Clove has their ultimate ready, or Sage is looking to resurrect a teammate, use Telekinesis (Passive) from up to 36m away to steal the dead player’s primary weapon. When they revive, they will be stuck with only a Classic. You can also hit door switches from across the map on Lotus or Ascent. This helps for early-round Odin wallbangs, Operator angles, or rotation fakes.
- Bait Out Veto’s Interceptor: Agent 29, Veto, is Hush’s biggest hard counter in Valorant. His Interceptor destroys Flashbulb, Displacement, and even her otherwise unbreakable Suspension ultimate. Never initiate a site hit with your loud ultimate if Veto is alive. Instead, play default and have teammates use rechargeable utility (like Skye flashes) to bait out Veto’s Interceptor before committing.
And that’s everything you should know about the abilities and tricks for Hush, Valorant’s new Duelist agent. Before you head into your first match, make sure you have the best Valorant crosshair codes set up for a cleaner aim experience.
