Spirit Urn or Soul Urn is a side objective in Deadlock that boosts your progression. After spawning at 10-minute mark, the Soul Urn keeps spawning every 5-minute mark after that. You cannot use any abilities or weapon while carrying the Spirit Urn in Deadlock, so movement is the key to deliver it to the Alter. After delivering the Soul Urn, a team gets the Souls shared between them and the carrier gets 1 Ability Point and 25% bonus Souls.

Deadlock has a mid-boss that spawns in the middle of the game and in the middle of the map. If you defeat this boss, you will get a Rejuvenator. Claiming the Rejuvenator gives your team a Rejuvenation buff credit that gives a lot of boost including a respawn timer reduction for one.

Just like any other MOBA, Deadlock also has droppable currency called Unsecured Souls. You can collect them by defeating neutral creeps in the jungle, collecting Unsecured Souls sphere or by destroying boxes and statues. The Unsecured Souls can be use in the shop right away and they slowly go into a secure state. However, if you die while having Unsecured Souls, you will permanently lose them.

Spirit is a trait in Deadlock that determines the ability related stats for a hero. Most abilities in Deadlock comes with a Spirit power multiplier that increases the ability damage depending on Spirit count. Other perks like Spirit damage resistance or reduction both are affected by Spirit power.

Deadlock does indeed come with controller support. However, being a MOBA game, you will feel restricted due to lack of buttons. Moreover, the aim assist is also not available on the controller as of now.
