Realme has today launched the company’s latest smartphone, the Realme 2 Pro, which brings several upgrades such as a faster processor, better camera hardware and a new design with a waterdrop notch up front. The Realme 2 Pro comes in three variants, with the base model starting at Rs. 13,990, and is expected to go on sale starting October 11 exclusively on Flipkart.

The 4GB + 64GB variant will be available at Rs. 13,990, the 6GB + 64GB is priced at Rs. 15,990 and the top-end 8GB + 128GB version carries a price tag of Rs. 17,990.

The Realme 2 Pro packs a 6.3-inch FullHD+ (1080×2340) display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a pixel density of 409 PPI and rounded bezels with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8%. There is a waterdrop notch at the top, which accommodates the front-facing camera, the proximity and the ambient sensors, with the earpiece sitting above this.

The device comes equipped with a faster Snapdragon 660 SoC, a significant improvement over the Snapdragon 450 which provided an underwhelming performance on the Realme 2. The Realme 2 Pro comes in three variants, with the base variant packing 4GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage, while the mid-tier version comes equipped with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The top-end Realme 2 Pro model packs a hefty 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In the imaging department, the Realme 2 Pro packs a 16MP+2MP dual rear camera set-up with an F1.7 aperture and a Sony IMX398 CMOS sensor with a 6-element lens. The front-facing camera is a 16MP unit with F2.0 aperture and comes with a ton of features such as Face Unlock, AI beautification, portrait shots and a lot more.

The Realme 2 Pro is a dual SIM device with dual VOLTE support and can accommodate two SIM cards and a microSD card simultaneously. Powering the device is a 3,500mAh battery which is a downgrade from the 4,230mAh battery fitted inside the Realme 2.
