Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Beta period is inching closer, and a new promotion for MW4 has been spotted online in collaboration with Monster Energy drink. A Call of Duty fan shared an image online where it was revealed that buyers of CoD MW4-themed Monster cans would be able to claim some free in-game rewards, including some 2XP codes.
Modern Warfare 4 Monster Cans to Grant Free 2XP Codes to Buyers
First spotted by a user named RYG Official on X, the Monster Energy can comes with the new logo for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 and a QR code with a message next to it that says, “Get in-game rewards. Full details at MonsterEnergy.com.”
This means that players will be able to unlock free in-game content, which could reportedly include operator skins, weapon blueprints, or even 2XP tokens. The tradition carries on as Call of Duty games have collaborated several times in the past with Monster Energy ahead of a new CoD title launch.
However, looking at the fine print on the can, it reads, “Purchase from 9/1/26 – 3/31/27. Redeem before 4/30/27. Unlocks 2XP in select current Call of Duty titles. Limit 1 HR/day, 40 HRS total, HR cap not limited to this promotion.”
This means that the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Monster cans may drop well before September 1, 2026, right before the MW4 Early Access Open Beta kicks off on August 21. When the cans are out, you’ll be able to purchase them till March 31, 2027, and claim free 2XP codes by scanning the QR code or heading to the official promo website for any ongoing CoD title.
However, you can only redeem them before April 30, 2027. Furthermore, the usage of 2XP codes is limited to 1 HR/day in-game, and in total you can use 40 hrs of XP tokens using this promotion in a single CoD account.
Ever since the news broke out, MW4 fans are hyped as they eagerly await new Monster Energy cans hitting shelves at their nearby stores. Several gamers are overjoyed, while some are even saying, “I don’t even drink Monster, but that limited Call of Duty reward though…”
The official announcement for the promo between Call of Duty and Monster has not been disclosed at the time of writing. Even Monster’s official website says, “There are no promotions at the time. Check in later for updates” in their promotions section.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 releases on October 23, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
