Lenovo recently launched the affordable A7-50 tablet and now, the company has launched an even more reasonably priced tablet offering in the form of Lenovo A7-30. Similar to the A7-50, the A7-30 is a 7-inch tablet with voice calling facility. The tablet is pretty thick at 10.7 mm waistline and weighs in at a hefty 340 grams. Let’s check out the specifications, shall we?
The Lenovo A7-30 features a 7-inch display of 1024×600 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT8382M processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM for your multitasking needs. There’s 8 GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 32 GB.
The cameras on the device are pretty modest. There’s a 2 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP aka a VGA front-facing camera. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean runs the show, which is a shame considering Android 4.4 KitKat has been here for quite some time now. A 3500 mAh battery provides the power to the device. The tablet comes with dual front facing speakers with Dolby Digital Plus.
There’s cellular connectivity on the device but that’s limited to 2G only but you can use 3G on the tablet via a dongle. There’s also voice calling facility on the tablet. Other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and GPS/A-GPS.
The affordable tablet is available at Lenovo’s online store. It is available in white and is priced at Rs. 9,979.

At its price, the Lenovo A7-30 is a good tablet with some decent specifications but its competition is equally strong if not stronger. The competition is evenly matched and it will be real tough for customers to choose a tablet in this price range. If you do buy a Lenovo A7-30, we don’t think it should disappoint you but the lack of 3G internally might hurt.
