Block the New Outlook App on Windows 11

While you have installed the classic Outlook app, it’s important that you also change the Registry entry to block the automatic transition to the new Outlook. Here are the steps to follow.

  • Launch the Start menu and search for “registry editor.”
  • Now, open “Registry Editor” from the search results.
  • Next, paste the below path into the address bar and hit Enter.
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences
  • This will take you to Outlook’s Registry page.
  • Here, double-click on “UseNewOutlook“.
  • Now, change the value to 0 and click OK.

Finally, restart your PC to apply the changes. Now, you can use the old classic Outlook without any worry.
