Honkai Star Rail 5.x Could Add Five More SP Characters, Leaks Suggest

Honkai Star Rail 5.x versions could add five more SP characters to the game. Special characters are different forms of older characters, like the upcoming forms Robin Summeretto and Aventurine Waveflair. The five characters leaked to be getting new SP versions are Firefly, Misha, Kafka, Dan Heng, and March 7th. Among the leaked characters, Misha is said to get an adult form.

The leak comes via HxG on Reddit, but it is listed as having an anonymous source. The leak specifies that the five characters will receive special forms in the next major version arc of Honkai Star Rail. Misha’s adult form hints at a major story return to Penacony.

As we all know, Misha is a Memetic Entity originating from a fragment of Mikhail Char Legwork’s memories. Mikhail was once part of the Nameless, so we might see adult Misha join the Astral Express once again.

Other than that, the Stellaron Hunters Firefly and Kafka are also reportedly getting new SP versions in the 5.x versions. With Mortenax Blade and Silver Wolf Lv. 999 already released in 4.2 and 4.3, this would mean all the Stellaron Hunters would have an SP form by the end of Honkai Star Rail 5.x.

However, many HSR fans would also be disappointed that many of the other favorite characters are not getting an SP form. Welt is the only original Astral Express crew member remaining who is yet to receive an SP form. Other than him, popular characters like Acheron, Sampo, Luocha, and Jingliu are also waiting their turn.

One thing to note is that if the leak does end up being true, we will have four versions of Dan Heng, which means players would be able to play mono Dan Heng teams in the game, which sounds hilarious. This would also be true with March 7th, considering Evernight is an SP of hers.
