Samsung Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Fit e Launched in India; Prices Start at Rs. 2,590

Back in February this year, when Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 line up of flagships, it also launched a bunch of fitness oriented wearables — the Galaxy Fit, and the Galaxy Fit e, and today, the company has finally launched them in India.

The Galaxy Fit and the Galaxy Fit e are fitness trackers that come with a bunch of essential features, and are focused at two different price brackets in the Indian wearables market; the Galaxy Fit will try and compete at the higher end of the the fitness tracker market in India, while the Fit e will basically be competing against hugely popular trackers like the Mi Band 3, Honor Band 4, and soon, the Mi Band 4 as well.

Galaxy Fit Price, Specifications, Availability

The higher-end Galaxy Fit comes with a 0.95-inch color AMOLED display with a 120×240 resolution resulting in a pixel density of 228ppi. It comes with a heart rate monitor, accelerometer, and gyroscope, and is capable of automatically tracking activities along with stats like heart rate, stress, and more. The Galaxy Fit features NFC wireless charging support, and comes with a 5ATM water resistance rating so you can easily take it for a swim. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy for connectivity, so the 120mAh battery lasts longer.

The Galaxy Fit is priced at Rs. 9,990 and will go on sale starting June 25 on Flipkart, Myntra, and the Samsung e-Shop. It will also be available offline across all retail stores and Samsung Opera House.

Galaxy Fit e Price, Specifications, Availability

The Galaxy Fit e on the other hand comes with a 0.74-inch mono PMOLED display with a resolution of 64×128 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 193ppi. It comes with a heart rate monitor and an accelerometer, but there’s no gyroscope in tow here. It can track activities, heart rate, and comes with sleep-detection as well. For charging, the Galaxy Fit e uses POGO pins, instead of wireless charging as found in the Galaxy Fit. The Fit e also has a smaller 70mAh battery, and comes with 5ATM water resistance rating so you can take it for a swim.

The Galaxy Fit e is priced at Rs. 2,590 and will go on sale on Flipkart, Myntra, and Samsung e-Shop from July 5 till July 19, after which it will go on sale offline. Pre-booking for the Galaxy Fit e will begin from July 1, on Flipkart.
