After the previous dramatic rivalry-themed season, Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 has introduced a new map, Sprites, Battle Pass, and much more with its launch. However, Epic will also be adding even more content to the game as the Runners season unfolds. That said, here is everything new you’ll find in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3.
All Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Updates So Far
At the time of writing, Chapter 7 Season 3 has had 2 major updates:
The next major Fortnite update for Chapter 7 Season 3, v41.30, is set to take place on July 30, 2026. This update is expected to bring new Sprites, weapons, and developments to the Chapter 7 Season 3 storyline.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Map Changes
In a move that not many players were expecting, Epic used the Shattered live event to completely wipe away the Golden Coast map halfway through the chapter.
This gave way to the Shattered Coast map, which comprises many almost entirely new POIs. When it comes to POIs from the Golden Coast, only two locations (Wonkeeland and Latte Landing) survived. That said, here are all the Shattered Coast locations in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3:
- Lifty Lodge
- Battlewoods
- Latte Landing
- Wonkeeland
- Frosted Flats
- Sinister Strip
- Golden Grove
- Shaken Sanctuary
- Cluster Coast
- Sunken Shores
- Heatwave Harbor
- Calamari Canyon
- Chopped Shop
As Chapter 7 Season 3 progresses, Epic Games could modify some of these locations to serve the storyline better. This could include Sinister Strip, which has been taken over by the Dark Voyager after he emerged victorious alongside Geno in the Shattered live event.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Weapons and Loot Pool Changes
All Fortnite seasons are heavily affected by the game’s loot pool, and Chapter 7 Season 3 is no different. Keeping things relatively small-scale, Epic has introduced 4 new weapons into the Fortnite loot pool this season, which include:
- Extending Focus Shotgun: A new shotgun sporting a three-round volley mechanic. When players hipfire this weapon, it has a much faster fire rate but a wider pellet spread. When aiming down sights, the pellet spread is narrowed, with each shot increasing the weapon’s range.
- Chaos Exploder Rifle: This new Dark Voyager-themed rifle is an absolute beast on the battlefield, with the weapon shooting explosive cubes that do both impact and splash damage.
- Lancehead Pistol: John Wick’s pistol of choice, the Lancehead Pistol is an extremely powerful handgun that also has a massive kick to it. Additionally, once players run out of ammo and reload, they can throw the magazine at enemies for added damage.
- Surgical Burst Rifle: A modernized version of the OG burst AR, the Surgical Burst Rifle is extremely smooth and accurate. If used right, it can absolutely dominate at any range with its pinpoint precision.
- Bank Shot Pistol: A unique weapon that shoots a bullet that can ricochet off walls and other surfaces, with the ricochet bullet dealing increased damage to enemies.
Now, let’s take a look at the full loot pool for Chapter 7 Season 3, including all of the weapons and items:
