If you’re wondering if you can get the Air Sprite in Fortnite right now, you wouldn’t be the only one. Over the weekend, players have been searching for ways to get this elusive elemental buddy. Given that it was one of the first Sprites to be introduced back in Chapter 6, everyone wants one. Unfortunately, there’s some good and bad news at hand.

When Will Air Sprite Release In Fortnite

You will be able to catch the Air Sprite in Fortnite from July 16, 2026, onward. It has yet to be released, and any claims to the contrary are incorrect. It also cannot be obtained by trading Sprites in Fortnite.

The Batman Sprite (link) and Seven Sprite (link) will also make their in-game debut on July 16, 2026. We’re not sure about the variants, but there could be a total of four, barring the base version.

Where To Find The Air Sprite in Fortnite?

Once it’s in-game, you will be able to collect it as you would other Sprites. This can be achieved by searching Sprite Chests or by eliminating players who have it. The latter is riskier, but can yield a levelled-up Air Sprite in Fortnite, saving you time and effort.

Coming to spawn locations, we know that the Air Sprite has a chance to appear near high and mountainous areas. Based on the map, these could include POIs such as Lifty Lodge, the hills in and around Sinister Strip, and south of Latte Landing.

What Does The Air Sprite In Fortnite Do?

The Air Sprite will increase your sprinting speed and jump height. It also negates fall damage, and as you level up, your jump height will increase. It shares some attributes with the Striker Sprite but is leagues better. We’ll get stats soon enough.

That said, if you’re looking for an edge when it comes to movement, the Air Sprite is going to be your best bet. Remember to search as many Sprite Chests as possible to find and extract one quickly using Extraction Gizmos.

All Variants of Air Sprite in Fortnite

You can find up to four special variants this Sprite. This does not include its base variant. Here is a list of all of its variants that you can find in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3:

• Base Air Sprite: Increase sprint speed and jump height. It also negates fall damage.
• Gold Air Sprite: Base buff + 3x bonus XP from eliminations.
• Gummy Air Sprite: Base buff + 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
• Galaxy Air Sprite: Base buff + 30% more Ammunition when looting.
• Holofoil Air Sprite: Base buff + 5% chance for your squad to find rare Sprite Variants from looting chests.
