The Batman Sprite in Fortnite is going to strike fear into the hearts of players. This is the first collaboration with DC in a while, and the community as a whole is excited. While the Sprite’s ability comes in clutch during a Fortnite match, everyone’s wondering why this miniature version of Batman is shirtless. Aesthetics aside, here’s what you need to know about the Batman Sprite.

Where To Find The Batman Sprite in Fortnite?

Unlike other Sprites that can be acquired by opening Sprite Chests in Fortnite, the Batman Sprite can (seemingly) only be found in three locations: in the inventory of the newly added Fortnite DC Bosses. Although this may seem like a joke, it’s actually true.

The best way to get your hands on a Batman Sprite is to find these DC Boss NPCs and challenge them to a duel. If you manage to defeat any of them, you’ll be rewarded with the Batman Sprite in Fortnite.

Having said that, you could also try your luck searching Chests while using a Holofoil Sprite in Fortnite. However, the aforementioned method is by far the best. Saves you the trouble of guesswork.

What Does The Batman Sprite Do In Fortnite?

The Batman Sprite grants you the ability to launch into the air and deploy the Bat Cape. It also replaces your normal Glider. The duration of the glide is subject to your deployment height, but you can cover quite a distance with ease.

You can use it to cover ground to reach one of the many Driveable Reboot Vans in Fortnite or rotate to a better position. I still prefer using Shock Rocks because they are more easily accessible. But if you want to deliver vengeance from above, the Batman Sprite is just the thing to use.

All Batman Sprite Variants in Fortnite

There are a total of 8 variants of Batman Sprites that you will be able to collect as the season progresses. However, this week, only five of them are available. Here’s the list:

• Base Batman Sprite: Base buff.
• Gold Batman Sprite: Base buff + 3x bonus XP from eliminations.
• Gummy Batman Sprite: Base buff + 20% more Sprite Dust upon Extraction.
• Galaxy Batman Sprite: Base buff + 30% more Ammunition when looting.
• Holofoil Batman Sprite: Base buff + 5% chance for your squad to find rare Sprite Variants from looting chests.
