Genshin Impact Luna III have done the most unexpected thing: buff old 5-star and 4-star characters. This is something Genshin Impact hasn’t done before, and the new change comes in the wake of introducing the new Hexenzirkel mages and Durin’s affiliations with them. So, which characters will be buffed, and what are the changes? Check our complete guide below to learn about the old character buffs in Genshin Impact Luna III.
1. Venti
Venti is the first character to get a major buff in Genshin Impact Luna III. This buff is so incredibly strong that it will make Venti one of the best Anemo characters in the game. Although, as the Anemo archon, that should have been long coming.
According to the reveal, Venti’s buff would allow him to shoot Anemo arrows that go through enemies after using his burst. These arrows would increase the time and CD for his burst. Other than that, whenever a nearby character triggers swirl after using his burst, their damage will increase, and Venti’s burst will deal more damage to them.
2. Albedo
Albedo is the next character revealed to be getting a buff. Being one of the most famous Geo characters in the game, seeing him get a good buff feels really good.
From what we know, Albedo’s buff will allow him to create Aureliths, which will buff the damage of other Hexerei (Hexenzirkel-affiliated) characters based on his total defense, up to a total of 36% damage increase. Alongside cool facts about Albedo, this new change is sure to bring him back to popularity.
3. Klee
Klee is one of the most forgotten 5-star characters in Genshin Impact. With this new buff to old characters, she will finally get some love in the community.
Klee’s new Hexenzirkel passive allows her to execute a free charged attack without breaking her Normal Attack sequence after using her burst. Other than that, her Attack increases based on the number of bomb stacks she has on her. All of these effects only happen while Klee has another Hexenzirkel character on the team.
Klee’s attack animation also gets an increase in speed, making her more optimized for the current meta.
4. Mona
Next, we have the favourite Astrologer, who is getting a free buff to her kit due to her connections to Hexenzirkel. Her new passive directly buffs the Vaporize damage of her team, giving her a really good upgrade. This can make her a good partner for Durin in Luna III.
According to the reveal, her new passive increases her Vaporize damage, every time her normal or charged attack hits enemies, stackable up to 3 times. Other than that, her Normal and Charged Attacks also increase the duration of Omen from her original kit.
5. Razor
Razor new buff increases his Elemental Burst damage by 70% of his ATK. Other than that, while the Wolf Within summoned by Razor’s Elemental Burst Lightning Fang is active, if the Electro Sigils from Razor’s Elemental Skill Claw and Thunder overflow, the Wolf Within will call down a lightning strike on nearby enemies, dealing AoE Electro DMG equal to 150% of Razor’s ATK and restoring 7 Energy to Razor. Overall, Razor is getting a decent buff to his Burst damage.
6. Fischl
Fischl is another character getting buffed in this update, and her buff is pretty strong for her allies. When OZ is on the field, the party members will get additional benefits based on their actions. When party members trigger the Overload reaction, Fishcl and her allies will get a 22.5% increase in ATK for 10 seconds. When a party member triggers Electro or Lunar-Charged reaction, the Elemental Master of Fishcl and her allies will be increased by 90 for 10 seconds.
7. Sucrose

Finally, Sucrose is also getting a buff in Genshin Impact Luna III, and it will likely make her the best Anemo support in the game. Her new buff allows her to increase the Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst damage for Hexerei party members when she creates either a small or large wind spirit.
