Mega Blastoise EX in Pokemon TCG Pocket is one of the new Mega Evolutions introduced in the Crimson Blaze expansion. With the meta filled with fire Pokemon decks, Mega Blastioise EX can be a solid pick if you are trying to climb up the ranks or quickly finish those step-up battles. If you have Mega Blastioise EX and are looking for the best deck and cards list, then we have you covered.

Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Blastoise EX Deck Strategy

Mega Blastoise EX Deck revolves around getting plenty of energy for your Mega Blastoise EX, while your Suicuine draws cards.

With 10 Pokemon cards, your aim should be getting a Suicune EX or a Mantyke on the active spot, and a Squirtle on the bench. Try getting as much energy as possible with Mantyke until it faints. Later, you can swap to Suicune EX to start drawing cards.

While Squirtle is in the benched slot, aim for a Wartortle or a Rare Candy to evolve it into Mega Blastoise EX. Use Poke Ball and Professor’s Research to draw cards alongside Suicune EX. Try getting energy using the Misty card, and pray that you win some coin flips. Lastly, we have Irida for healing, and Giant Cape for some extra HP.

While the strategy might be simple, don’t forget that you need at least 6 energy to fully utilize Mega Blastoise EX. Also, be aware of the Grass and Lightning decks, like Mega Venusaur EX and Mega Ampharos EX. They are the greatest threat to Mega Blastoise EX decks. You should also look out for the new Mega Charizard Y EX deck. Even though it’s a fire-type deck, Mega Charizard Y EX can one-shot any Pokemon in TCG Pocket.

That sums up everything about the Mega Blastoise EX deck. If you have any suggestions, comment below!
