As Asta shares a lot of traits with the Straw Hat captain, such as marching steadily towards their respective goals, One Piece was the greatest adventure I’ve ever been on, despite the anime not leaning heavily towards magic like in Black Clover.

Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen is the most recent sensation in anime history. I fell in love with Gege Akutami’s JJK world due to its dark fantasy setting. The author has done wonders with the cursed magic-based power system here, resulting in some of the best action I’ve ever seen in an anime. So, JJK felt like watching a more of a darker version of Black Clover.

Mushoku Tensei

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is one of the best Isekai to come out in recent times. The magical world setting and group of heroes reminded me of Black Clover at times. Though Rudeus isn’t exactly like Asta, you will still be interested in following his journey.

The meeting is cut short when an otherworldly beast attacks Keiki, and he ends up taking Youko to his realm. However, two of her classmates also get pulled into the middle of the madness and now learn to survive in the unknown realm. 

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

Two seasons of Mushoku Tensei are out now, and the third one is scheduled for broadcast in July 2026.

He is accompanied by a djinn, which he summons using his flute. Aladdin also befriends Alibaba Saluja and guides him to the nearby dungeons. The newfound friendship brings an unimagined adventure for the companions. Apart from the main series, you can also watch the spin-off prequel titled Magi: Adventure of Sinbad.

Hunter x Hunter
